Been a local fave for years sadly I won’t be back. Walked in to the scent of sewer or well water. Figured we could adapt. We waited a bit to be seated then waited quite a bit for drink orders. Waited a LOT for our food. Now let me state for the record. I know the restaurants are going through it w supply chain issues, not enough help etc. we were fully prepared to be patient and just enjoy our time out of the house. Food came after aVery Lengthy wait. My relleno was none like I’ve ever seen. Not battered, no cheese and topped w onions. My husbands steak tacos looked good but the meat was still cold. Like out of the freezer cold. We excused ourselves, paid for our drinks and left. I don’t mind waiting but give me something I can eat.
We love Romis! The combo meals are an amazing deal, so much food and comes with a drink! We either eat in or get take out almost every Friday. I love the authentic flavors and their salsa is the best! Just wish it was included in take out meals. Only suggestion is have the staff check back on the tables a few times for water refills sometimes after the food is dropped off they never come back until they bring the bill ;) but we will always come back for the food!
Reserved the patio for a birthday party, Jesus the owner was awesome to work with. We were given an hour in advance for decorating. For a party of 50 we had 2 dedicated servers who were great and attentive. We pre-ordered the 3 sampler appetizers for each table (quesadillas, beef nachos and chicken flautas) and Guac. Guests were raving about the The Steak tacos. The Watermelon Margarita, Corina-ritas and sangria were favs as well. We had plenty of seating space, an area for our musicians, DJ and room to dance. Portion of the patio is under roof so rain or shine isn't an issue.
Romi's has very good Mexican food, I find some of the mom and pop places in Dover to have a little more authentic cuisine. Also a bit pricey. Not crazy expensive, but a bit pricey. Worth checking out
We love Romi's! Love their combos and their steak is amazing! Everything I've ever had, everytime, so good! Nice staff and cute dine in area. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. We live in Riverview and can't get there often enough.
The food is delicious every time we go there they take care of us good waitress.

So the food was delicious ? But the takeout time was double what was recommended. So -1 ⭐. Got Chimichanga meal (chicken), Fish Tacos, & Guacamole. The guac was amazing!
The hosts were very nice and helpful suggesting dishes to try. The whole fried fish was so good all I saw was bones when my wife finished eating. We also enjoyed the quesadilla's, tacos and everything was delicious! I wish I remembered to take great photos!
Amazing Food, as always! They did raise their prices recently, so we had to cut back on coming here as often, but still great food for a decent price!
