I’ve ordered from this restaurant a few times online, got it delivered, and it was good Chinese food, but I didn’t really get to pick what I wanted considering I was sharing with other people. Last week I went inside, grabbed a menu and ordered just for me. Totally wasn’t expecting the amount of food I got! Wow. Very generous portions. I was eating Chinese for three nights and was fine with it. While I was waiting for my order inside I browsed the rest of the menu which is quite extensive. Lots of options! Will definitely be coming back to try some of the Thai and Vietnamese dishes. I loved their indoor fish tank; I don’t think I’ve ever seen fish with that much character- they were very fun to watch. It really baffles me that so many people still go to the “Panda Express” when there’s such great local food right around the corner...
I had to go to the emergancy room after I ordered here. I ordered walnut chicken. And it was battered and fried.i never had it before and it looked chunky. I bit into one and it's texture was wrong. I pulled off the batter to find out it was shrimp....I am deathly allergic to shellfish. I hope one bite that i spit out and taking a benadryl wasn't going to be a problem but after about an hour my tongue, face hands and feet were swollen and started having breathing issues. I will never eat here again. Food was never that great to begin with and after this experience I know it's because they don't take as much care in their cooking.
Usually get the Fried Calimari, tried the (triple as I call it) Fried Salt and Pepper Calimari, Shrimp, and Scallops ... but there were no Scallops. Just as well though, Scallops are most-times counterfeit (I remember back in the day the restaurant I worked at on the Galveston Seawall, the chef would have a stingray on the table and hit it with a cookie cutter to make scallops). Anyway, the Fried Calimari was good but the fried shrimp was outstanding. That shrimp was YUGE! Also had Chicken and Broccoli, and Fried Rice, both delicious. In addition, had Bourbon Chicken which was chewy, not tender like what you'd get at the mall food court (thus the four versus five stars). Call ahead and pick it up at their drive-thru for convenience.
The owner's wife (Priscilla) seems to never get the orders correct and misses items for customers. She also has a big tendency to pretend like she gave the wrong amount to her employees (a waiter/waitress told me this). For example, knowing there's supposed to be a $15 tip from the customers, she gave her employee $10, and then when asked for the remaining $5, she had the nerve to try to give $4... This is one Asian you NEED to be careful about at this restaurant. She'll rob you if you don't count your money. This is a warning to all customers and potential/current employees!!
I only order from them because I like their shrimp fried rice. NOT anymore! Lady working there not sure if she’s part owner, employee or family member but they need to get rid of her. She’s RUDE seems like she don’t want to work there. Her customer service skills are horrible. She don’t want to give you any extra soy sauce. Slams your debit card and talk to you in a rude tone. Also, when calling to place an order they put you on hold too long and sometime never pick back up. I know sometimes business is busy but arrange time to take calls from orders. Then they missed up one of my order and when I got there to pick it up they had give it to someone else said someone else already came to pick up my order. HOW? When you take the ph number for the orders. So I had to replace my order. Sorry I had to post this but it’s only because the lady working there will make them loose a lot of customers behind her attitude and actions.
I have been eating in this place for 6 years and sadly the food is good but the service is THE WORST! I am just tired of the nasty behavior and terrible service, so sad when having good food… in all this years it’s always been the same, always always always disrespectful and angry with us The CUSTOMERS!! Gosh!! We are PAYING food and service comes with it when you have a restaurant , if you have NO SERVICE or you don’t like having customers close business and DO SOMETHING THAT YOU Like.Enough it’s enough !!!It’s amazing, I’m all this years not even one time I had been appreciated… so sad! You just lost a customer
If I have to order Chinese food it's definitely from here!!! Hands down the best Chinese food around but like anything in life you got to give a little to get a little. I drive 30 mins to this place (which is fine) but the attitude these employees have is unreal. I think they fail to realize if it weren't for us hungry customers they wouldn't be in business. I understand customers are not the easiest to deal with I'm always so kind and polite and a good tipper and no matter how much I try they never crack smile and it almost seems like I'm bothering them or they have something better to do. Nonetheless, I always buy from there if I have to get Chinese but they could seriously use an attitude make over.
Food was good, a bit greasy but not bad. Unfortunately, there was a hair and a staple in my food! Luckily I caught it before my two year old swallowed it.
Ordered combination beef and broccoli w pork fried rice and egg roll. Rice and egg roll burnt. Unable to eat. Friday night. It's the disappointing to see.
My mother and I both ordered ombinations. It is amazing value with lots of fresh veggies and chicken in the cashew chicken and broccoli chicken dishes. Soups good too. Everything was hot. Very nice family owned restaurant.
