Haven't been to Oaks in quite a while maybe 10 years. We were pleasantly surprised. The food we purchased was really good with some huge onion rings and great sweet potatoe fries. To top it off they had a 4 piece band playing, name was FOG, four old guys....you need to ask them to come back. Our waitress was extremely busy taking care of quite a few customers...she did an excellent job. The five of us will be back.
Love the atmosphere, service was great. Food was so, so. The onion rings we ordered were so over cooked, extremely hard, and greasy, we had to exchange them for fries. The rings were literally sitting in a puddle of grease, gross. The final bill was way higher than expected but the drinks I had, RumRummers, were good but expensive,($8.50ea). Realizing the cost of everything has risen tremendously, I'm not too surprised, but$43 for a French Dip, Philly Cheesesteak, one water and 2 Rumrunners? It will be awhile before we return but you may like it there. P.S. That's a grease filled fry in the basket. The rest of the fries were really good...... Mixed feelings about this place.
My sister and I were there and I had the Taco Bell salad and it was let me tell you the most incredible Taco Bowl I've had ever. Except for those yellow yellow pepper things. LolI have been coming here for the past couple years. And let me tell you this place has a fantastic menu. With great portions sizes at a responsible cost.
Me and my girlfriend I had lunch great service bartender was very nice and genuine and prompt never had a empty cup and the food was great I got the fish platter with a crab cake scallops and fish and some shrimp probably best seafood platter around one of the best anyways the wings that are I heard a really good I heard a lot of people talking to get stuff about him. In conclusion this is why I gave my rating of 5 stars.
This restaurant reminds me of old Florida. I liked the ambiance and the relaxed feel. Ordered the full rack of ribs, it was really good, a hint of oak flavor. It was so large, 3 people could have shared. Loved the shrimp gumbo.Saw burger orders go by, I'll have to check this out next time, they looked ?.They do have music, check their Facebook page. My husband and I enjoyed our evening.Parking is limited at the restaurant.
My fiance, sister and I had a great time! Our waitress, Lauren, was fantastic. Will definitely be back!
Visited the establishment on Saturday 2/5. Amy was friendly and helpful taking a picture for us. Food was good. Laid-back atmosphere. Stop by if you are in the area.

Place would be better If they kept it up! Handicap ramp on side needs some repairs & bench & decking area! Windows & tables need to be sanitized wipe down thoroughly, Especially w Covid & these other viruses going around! Windows has fingerprints all over them & our table w dirty!! Hopeing for more help! And Hopefully, this place will turn around! Would be a good spot in neighborhood t hang out & eat a fast bite!
I just had the pleasure of eating a Blue Moon Burger. The balance of flavors was amazing. The patty alone was about 1 inch thick. I ended up having to smash the toppings down to fit the burger in my mouth, which could be my only complaint. I'm not the type of person that complains about having too much amazing food, so the 5 stars remain.My wife got the Philly Cheese Steak. The sandwich was described as "robust". There was plenty of meat and cheese. Their fries are also good, but for me, only a second thought, after the entree. We will go back, as this place may end up being our go to restaurant in Brandon.
