I ordered the oxtails. 15 dollars for the meal got 3 tiny oxtails all bone and extremely tough with bbq sauce ?. The rice was hard and grainy and the cabbage seemed old and dry. I usually go to the little food truck on MLK and they were closed so I gave this spot a try. NEVER AGAIN!! There was hardly any food and for 15 dollars. Complete RIP off.
A hidden gem in Brandon. Very delicious and affordably priced meals and great customer service. I had their oxtail with peas and rice and it was so delicious, I will definitely be back again. So wonderful to have a place like this in Brandon.
Everything is Authentic and flavorvable. Delicious!! The Lemonade is the best Lemonade I've ever had.
We are so thrilled that Hey Mon opened up within WALKING distance of our house. We will definitely become regulars. Our whole family loves their Puff Bread . The Roti Bread is OUT OF THIS WORLD! The sauces are delicious! We haven’t even begun to try the dinners but we’ll be back!!! My goal is to make my way through the entire menu by the end of the summer.
Love the new location..... our family has stopped at Hey Mons the past Five years.... whenever we are in the Sarasota area this is a must stop. Love the curry goat and ox tail soup. Everything is seasoned well.... not hot or spicy, but flavorful. Mr. Bishop is the owner and he also makes rubs and sauces for sale. Cute, comfy and colorful shop. Some seating, but we saw many people come for takeout. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!
We have made this a destination every year we come to the area. The food is fantastic and the owner is wonderful. We are happy to be going to their new location. Just come in and see for yourself .
