I really appreciate the service. People skills really stand out to me. The cashiers and waitresses are really friendly.Also, there's a website in place that really relates to people. It contains timely advice based on practical principles for people in multiple languages.It highlights what God is doing now and what he's soon to do for the entire inhabited earth. It's non-political and family friendly.
I went here with my granddaughter and grandson son in law just to have a nice day. Once we paid and sat at the table and open the silverware you can plainly see that they are dirty. So I asked to speak to a manager and it took several minutes for someone to come to talk with me. Once that person came they told me that well I’ll need to speak to the manager of the whole restaurant so they came out and spoke with me. She apologized for this and asked what we wanted to do and we wanted to just get a refund. But she said that since it’s been over five minutes that we’ve been at the restaurant their policy is they cannot issue refunds. I explained that as soon as we got there and open the silverware I asked to speak to a manager but it took them all that time to get a manager to come and talk with me so that’s why it was over five minutes. She then said that the only thing she can do is give me a credit for a free meal next time and then went on to tell me how the owner is very stingy and won’t do refunds and told me that he found another location and there were complaints there and it wasn’t a very busy restaurant so he just shut it down so that’s one reason why he won’t do refunds after five minutes. I would strongly recommend if you do go to this restaurant and eat to check your silverware first thing and if you have any issues tell them that you know you need to speak with the manager within five minutes for a refund so you would need to speak to one as soon as possible. Golden Coral is a buffet style restaurant with common American style foods and some southern fare. The food here is decent, nothing impressive, but not bad. They have a good selection of lunch/dinner options and a large seating area.The restaurant was clean, service quick, and staff were friendly and helpful.
My wife and I went for breakfast one Sunday, around 11am. They had breakfast and lunch items out. Everything was outstanding and it was $10.50 for the buffet. The coffee was a tad strong for me but they only serve breakfast on the weekend, Sunday for sure. I plan on going again tomorrow.
The outside was clean of debris, walking in also clean and line moving regularly. It was 8 p.m., not over crowded but still busy. They have disposable plastic gloves hanging at all food stations. I love Golden Corral for the variety of food for the kids but I was also pleasantly surprised by how good the steak was without needing sauce. They had bread rolls coming out nice and hot regularly which was great as well. Our server was absolutely phenomenal, I wish I had gotten her name, she was very sweet with our toddler making conversation and always asked us if we needed anything, also warning us when it was our last chance for desserts. Overall great experience and will be coming back during the same not heavy traffic time.
Frankly, if you’ve got a group of people, especially kids, you can’t go wrong with the Golden Corral. This location was clean, they had disposable gloves for use(notate no one was using them), the server kept our drinks full and plates removed, and food was fresh and continuously refilled or stirred/maintained. Fried chicken here has an amazing crisp, but definitely throw some salt and pepper on it as it could use some seasoning. The soft serve ice cream machine was out, but they had plenty of other dessert options. The banana pudding is incredible! Definitely try the bourbon chicken
Your food is pretty good but EVERY TIME I have been to this location the bathrooms are ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I'm not sure how the health dept hasn't closed you guys down yet.This is THE ONLY Golden Corral with such nasty bathrooms. What seems to be the problem???
So much to choose from that it is always a good meal. I usually don't find what I like but here I do. They have so many dishes other places don't. Chinese to what my Granny cooked I love coming here. It is always fresh and delicious. Brandon, Lakeland, Winter Haven or Orlando I have been to them all and am always glad I went.
Terrible experience in this golden corral! To start with they sat us on a table which was dirty and instead of cleaning it the right way, the lady simply " cleaned" with a napkin????Seats were also dirty with leftover food pieces. BUT, the worst part is when we were grabbing some food. Guess what I found? A huge hair in one of their beans ? Yup!! Hands down the worst place I've ate. Mind you I've gone to many golden corrals before but this one i will never go again and definitely never recommending!! -1,000 stars !!!
I've been to Golden Corrals that are now closed because they had no clue what being clean was about and now they are gone deservingly. This Golden Corral while very large and busy, was very very clean throughout, food was plentiful, and good. And all the staff was fantastic and very deserving of your appreciation. aka TIP.
