First timer and I must say Tacos have come a very long way since the days of Taco Bell. Capital Tacos are authentic and very freshly made in front of you. The Shrimply taco was small in size but packed a punch. You have a choice out of Taco, Burrito or Bowl. I chose the Taco and my daughter the Burrito. We both were pleased and I took a bite of her Burrito which was fresh and flavorful. The ice tea wasn't overly sweetened but very cold just as I desire. This is a good choice if you're craving authenticity ❤???????
Let's talk about Capital Taco for a minute tonight. I think the food is creative and most of it is delicious to be honest. My problem is the portion to price ratio. The portions are tiny. It's a two/three bite taco. The tacos range from $5 to $6 each. Although I genuinely like the food I'm not sure if the price of admission is worth it. They taste much better than they look however this was just under $25.
Tonight by far was the worst service we’ve ever gotten at this location. We praise this place and unfortunately were SUPER disappointed. After waiting a looooooooong time for three tacos and one salad, not only were the cooks fighting amongst each other but the girl in the back that was getting NO help start screaming out all kinds of words. I had my freaking kids there. I didn’t even want to eat inside because I was already feeling a certain type of way. On top of everything, I decided to take food home, and the whole order was wrong. I had heard the cooks too, talking amongst each other saying I specifically said everything on the side because these tacos were for my kids. I spent $40!!!!!!!! For the whole order to be wrong. And for service from straight up High as hell kids! My husband went back to correct problem, but I won’t be back for awhile. Management… you should gather up your employees and see who really wants to work.
Let me start by saying the food is always good. However…. I’ve visited this location approximately 4 times in the last 2 years. I would be here at least once a month or more if the cost wasn’t extremely high for the quantity of food (3 tacos, small chips and queso and a small drink was $25) . Also the restaurant is always dirty my feet literally stick to the floor as I walk to sit down. On this particular visit I sat down in the rear of the restaurant and was waiting for my food when I noticed the entire wall was crawling with ants.
I initially invested a total of $108,000 over a period of 5 weeks. My bonus/profit was $930,000, every attempt to make withdrawal failed and I was instructed to make another deposit of $35,000 before I can make withdrawals which I did. till now, I'm still unable to make withdrawals and all attempts to contact brokers have failed. This is very pathetic and I felt so bad losing my investment. I did a due diligence test before investing with them but guess what I ended up getting burned. This is to create awareness, not everybody can be as lucky as I was. I'm saying this because I was able to recover my funds. We enjoy Capital Tacos. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the tacos are seldom hot. They are making them fresh you can see it but they just don't get then to the table hot. But, food is good and quick so we will return.
Absolutely phenomenal Tex Mex! I’m from out west originally and was blown away to find such great food that made me feel at home. I’ve tried a bunch of the tacos, all are great. As is chips, queso and street corn. Very friendly and knowledgeable team as well.
Honestly they used to be so much better. Their poor staff is under trained and management doesn't seem to be in the building.But today I'll probably never eat a MC Yum Yum or Double Mesa again. They have cockroaches! At least they gave us a refund.It sad how much they've gone down since they franchised.
Best option I made for dinner! After going to Capital Tacos at Riverview and staff turned us down because they wanted us to place our order through their website, we were really upset because that’s not the customer service we expected. We really wanted to eat Capital Tacos so we called the Brandon location were not only they were friendly over the phone but when we arrived it was a very welcoming place. The manager kept her employees motivated at all times. And I’m glad the Riverview location turned us down because if not, I wouldn’t had experience the awesome Brandon location. Keep it up!!
Best tacos that I have ever eaten in my life! Great, fast services and again the chicken fajita, grilled shrimp, and fried fish tacos were simply AMAZING! I'm legit sad that I don't live in the Tampa area so I could go to this place all of the time. Will definitely be back though whenever I'm in town.
