This was our first time here and we’re thrilled with everything! I had Salmon Alfredo and hubs had the Chicken Caprino and everything was delicious.Not pictured was our Calamari appetizer. It was probably the best I’ve had in a long time.We’ll definitely be back for more. Glad to have found a great Italian restaurant near by.
My husband and I decided to visit Wheat and Water. What a good decision! Our server Jonathan was attentive and very professional. He welcomed us and gave us wonderful recommendations. After ordering the house made sangria and calamari for an appetizer, our main entrees came in a timely manner…not rushed! I ordered the special of the evening, two stuffed chicken breasts with a savory spinach and sausage filling and a delicious marsala sauce. Many sides were available. My husband had a delicious and tender veal marsala. The fresh sour dough bread was warm and crusty. Can’t wait to visit again!
Tonight I decided to give them a try and placed an order through UberEats. The chicken parmigiana, risotto and calamari were delicious but the STAR was the apple crostata! I think it was the best dessert I’ve ever had!

Even though she was very busy, she still managed to balance everything perfectly where we were able to have all appetizers and entrees spaced out with great timing. I must give Kudo's to the chef for being one of the best 5 Star Chefs in Manatee and Sarasota County. Jonathan did an amazing job with Cocktail's and has his own unique signature and creativity. David the Manager is doing an amazing job with running the operations of Wheat + Water Italian Kitchen, and because of that we rank Wheat + Water Italian Kitchen Number 1 as Restaurant of the Month and is well worthy of this 5 Star review.

Arrived quite early for a reservation, despite the 5:00 rush, we were welcomed & seated promptly.Our server, Ashley, was the epitome of grace under pressure! Again, the 5:00 opening "rush" =orders galore. Ashley was pleasant, professional and efficient. Ordered minestrone- delicious. Meatball app, sausage app & a fresh Caesar salad. All VERY good. Pleasant outdoor dining. We enjoyed our meal & service very much & will be back before heading back north?
Ashley was our waitress and she was amazing from the beginning to the end. She made us laugh and felt so comfortable having her take care of us for the night. All her recommendations regarding the menu was spectacular and we enjoyed our food so much. We will definitely be back and we will be asking for Ashley to wait on us again and again.
Another great meal with tender chicken, mushrooms and angel hair pasta. You can't go wrong eating here. Every dining experience has been delicious! It's nice having outdoor seating too, with a screened in patio.
Never order a carry out. ordered one at 5:00 PM for a 6:30 Pick up. Got there at 6:25 and at 7:10 it still wasn't ready, with no time provided as to when it would be ready. Cancelled it and picked up a pizza at Marcos by 7:20. Not the first time this happened but last time I'm ordering anything from there.
