Our server was amazingly sweet, polite & attentive espec for 2am. Prob helped that we were sober. Waffle house is that 1 place we usually can count on for great waffles 24/7. This was my 1st bad experience at 1 but it seems to be the norm for almost every chain restaurant I've gone to in/near Lakewood Ranch. Out of our 3 waffles 1 was browned on just 1 side, the others were barely cooked. His food just wasn't edible. Bacon & coffee was great! The cook looked half baked & was talking w friends that came in. Hopefully just off night but prob won't chance it again.
Shannon was great!! She was so endearing to our children and even offered them stickers. Place was clean and bathrooms were too. Definitely be back. Thanks to the whole crew!!
The waiter Dwayne was rude and slow. When another guest asked him for service because he'd already waited a while Dwayne told him to stop talking and leave as he wouldn't serve him. I waited long to get service and when Dwayne eventually helped me he was rude and short. No greeting. Charged me twice for double hash brown upgrade and told me to keep quiet and leave when I commented to the cashier about the double charge. In-between the bad service Dwayne who was the only waiter went outside numerous times to sit in a car outside with someone instead of keeping on track with his customers. Definitely would not support Waffle House again as this was not the first venue with bad service.

Love Waffle House. This particular one is clean with a great staff. I eat here when I'm passing by since the closed the Waffle House in Venice FL. Food is always good
They are locked up and closed, please fix your hours on google, it's very easy and will make people a lot happier. Changing your hours to reflect that your closed will prevent people from wasting their time traveling to your location and provide would have them more likely to come when you are open! Now I will never come here again. I'll keep going to the one in south sarasota where the hours reflect the proper times you're open. For reference it's 11pm and my children are yelling at me because they were excited for Waffle House ;) how am I suppose to explain to my son that he cannot have a waffle? You owe me $3 for gas Waffle House and the original founding fathers of Waffle House would be beyond disappointed.

After moving here and not knowing where to go when looking for a late night bite, we settled here.... We only have one back home from the small town I'm from and the staff here brought the old, small-town feel back. Bill, James, and Ireland will treat you like family! Looking forward to seeing you all next time!
Like most Waffle Houses, this is a terrific spot for a tasty breakfast at a good price. Service was quick and friendly. Food came out quickly and tasted great. The only complaint is that they had the air conditioning cranked up so cold that my food cooled down quicker than I could eat it.
