I stopped in after the lunch craze and there were still tables being filled which is usually a good sign. Appetizer was tempura and it was excellent! The I got a spider roll. It was very tasty but very small for the price. I got some sashimi and hand roll. Very good fresh and temperature was perfect. I will be back!
Even in this atmosphere of despair comes a restaurant that puts a smile on your face. Even if you cannot sit in and eat there and enjoy you can take home a meal and greatly enjoy their good. We had dinners....shrimp and fillet mignon which was great with soup and salad, lots of food for the price. They also have lunch "boxes" and special combo dinners. Their hibachi is really tasty. Its hard to review the inside atmosphere but we sure will when things open up. It's a real nice, friendly, with easy people to deal with who gets the order correct!!! Kudos for a good neighborhood restaurant.
Absolutely shocked on how good the sushi was at Mizu. I’ve passed it four times a week for nearly 3 years and never tried it until tonight because it is located in a strip mall and not that noticeable from the outside. We will definitely be back. The sushi was so fresh and filled with a ton of delicious fish. We loved the Godzilla, Spicy Girl, Samurai and Lucky Roll. Any of the rolls that had shrimp tempura in it were incredibly crunchy and delicious. No soggy tempura and no tiny shrimp!
Stopped by for lunch and we were impressed with the food. My wife had California roll and I tried the teriyaki shrimp. Both were very good, with reasonable portion sizes and fair prices. Service was quick and friendly.
...thing. Lunch was reasonable in price, quantity and quality. Nothing terribly unusual, but to be fair, I did not try the signature dishes, the sushi on offer. But one non-food item stood out, particularly for an ethnic restaurant, the washroom. The cleanest that I’ve been in, up to date and extremely clean. Why of importance? Because, at least to my way of thinking, that is indicative of a clean environment in the kitchen.
We have always desired to have a sushi spot on the north east side of Bradenton. We were excited to see when Mizu was going to be opened here and they have not disappointed. The whole family loves this place. We've had the sushi as well as the dinner plates. All so very good! Very friendly staff. We certainly recommend you try them out.
We have never eaten in the restaurant but get take out at least twice a month. Their shrimp sauce is my kids’ favorite and they love the fried rice bowls with their choice of meat. My husband and I enjoy the dinners as we like the salad and vegetables. The portions are large and we usually have leftovers to enjoy the next day. The staff is always very pleasant and accommodating when I call and when I go in to get the food.
