Poorly run establishment. I’d give zero stars if I had the option. I waited 45 minutes for an order while others came, ordered, and left with their order in hand. I inquired about my order only to find that my ticket had been lost. The kid took my order again but rather than expedite the order he kept the order in hand and continued to take others orders. At that point I was highly agitated with the poor response and lack of respect to a patron and asked him if he could please put in my order. The kids became disrespectful and told me that “it happens,” and “you’re upset over a little custard dude” and pointed to the short staff paper on the window as if their disrespectful words, attitudes, and lost ticket was acceptable. I finally received my custard which I was concerned had been tampered with at that point and did not even eat it. I had even given the kids a 40% tip when I paid for my order. I will never return to this poorly run establishment.
We came here for dinner during this visit and loved the sandwiches! We had the reuben and the philly cheese steak - both delicious. The rest of our party had chicken salad which is always a favorite. The pasta salad side is also great! The strawberry milkshake and peanut butter banana concrete are favorites for dessert, if you can avoid the sundaes that is. Must stop!
I’ve been a fan since they opened decades ago. However, the past few times I’ve been in, the odor inside is so fowl. The staff is non caring nor friendly . Restroom was filthy. I understand the past couple of years have been tough but you’re almost always busy. You raised your prices to coincide with inflation yet the cleanliness of the establishment has not been reflected in the increase. In fact, I won’t be back until I hear better things.I let it go the first time . But I’ve been back twice since and it’s just extremely unpleasant all around. ??
Frozen custard is exceptional. Prices have been raised to a point well past reasonable. 1 small cup and a medium concrete @ $13.00+ is to expensive even occasionally.
Love their frozen custard! Honestly prefer a solid vanilla cone over the sundae.
One of the few great frozen treat places in town, Sweetberries brings the custard best. Their daily specials are always fun, but its hard to beat their original Boilermaker or Turtle. Servings are huge. The large could easily be split among 3 people.
I've heard about this place for some time and had occasion to finally stop there for a treat! One Andes mint/Oreo cookie "concrete" and one caramel/toffee bits "concrete". Basically a DQ Blizzard but made with custard. It was smooth, creamy and ohhh so flavorful! Definitely won't wait so long to stop again !!!
We dined in. Had white albacore tuna sandwich. My husband had a Cuban. Ver good.
We heard about the incredible dessert ? so we stopped by to check it out. We ordered and split a hot fudge sundae ? ? it rocked!!! Thank goodness we ordered a small, it was enormous, we had to bring some home. The service and workers were very positive and polite ?. We will return.
We visited SweetBerries Bradenton for the first time and absolutely couldn’t figure out why we been missing this place. We were greeted by Cody he was very friendly and made us feel right at home. When I asked fir his recommendations he was spot on with the Cuban and that fantastic Broccoli Salad. Just when we thought it could get better we ordered their famous Frozen Custard. Also enjoyed meeting Carrot. Lol Ask Cody
