Children loved this place. So many options and so yummy. Will go back for the kids for sure! Adults? Maybe!
Excellent place to stop by for a burger or ice cream specially if you come back from the beach. I really recommend this place. Remember you need to paid cash.
When I got to establishment everything it was nice and clean. You have to walk up and look at the menu on the windows. They have a lot of food to choose from. When I knew what I wanted I went to the window to order. The staff behind the window was very nice and friendly. She took my order and ask for a name. I ordered a strawberry milkshake and they had it ready within mins. Which was made with real ice cream and strawberries it was delicious and amazing. I also ordered a Philly cheese with French Fries. The only way you can pay is with the cash, but if you forget to bring cash they do have a ATM machine there. The rest of my order took about five or six minutes to come out. They take your order at one window and you pick up at another window. Pretty nice process, and the also have tables there where you can enjoy your meal. It’s outside but it do have two ceiling fans going. The wind blew some, so that was good as well. Everything was good I’m definitely going back to enjoy this establishment again. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone to enjoy.
Stopped here last year when we were in the area and had really good desserts. So stopped here again while on the way past for more! I got a double cheeseburger and fries which were really good. The burger was big, really juicy and tasted great. I would compare it to a five guys burgers but far less greasy and it was a pleasure to eat in the really soft fresh bun. The fries were crinkle fries and perfectly good (although nowhere near the quality is five guys) I got a pineapple milkshake afterwards which was also really really good. Loads of bits of pineapple and such a massive portion (and very thick) My wife got the cookie dough Spooner which she really enjoyed. Again massive portion and loads of ice cream and bits of cookie dough. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in the area (Be aware they only take cash, although there is an ATM in their seating area)
Always a favorite spot for dessert for our group! The shakes and sundaes are so good! We were only here for dessert this time, but the food is good too if you are extra hungry. The line may be long, but it will be worth it!
Cash only here. They do have an ATM machine on site. It is a small, cute place. I had the breaded tenderloin and a side of mushrooms. It was good, they put mustard on both sides of the bun, it was too much. I did not try the ice cream nor a burger, perhaps nice time I am in that area.
The most delicious custard ever especially the cookie dough!!!!! I don’t know what they do to make it so creamy. I wish I knew the recipe so I can make it at home because I live so far away.
This place, cash only, is the BEST!!! Old fashioned, part of the history of Bradenton, my boyfriend's family had Todd Gulf Service Station down the block. Okay, enough of that! Best burgers, beer bathered onion rings (when they have) and ice cream. Right out of the 60's and will never get old coming here!
The Hazelnut Malt was absolutely heavenly. The best thing I've tasted in a long while. Burgers were great. Fries came in very extremely large portions.
As a local of west Bradenton I want to like this place. I want to support this cute little restaurant, but it’s so incredibly hard . Went there a few months back. Food was sub par. We got 2 hot and fries. Both had easy modifications that were ignored, and food was lackluster. Went back again because like I said, I want to love this place. Google said they closed at 10pm. I got there at 8:30pm and was told the “grill was off” and they were only serving ice cream. She also said they can’t figure out how to change the google time as they close at 9pm. Do the owners know this? There are far more instances but I’m not going to list them all. I tried.You’re better off heading a little East to the Shake Station in Ellenton. Local place, always delish and they will happily serve you food while they are open =]
