from Ny originally so i know what good pizza is and is IT! I have lived in Bradenton for 40 years and this place has been here as long as i can remember , neighborhood pizzeria , reasonable too. As far as the lady 1 star comment about a new blond lady giving her problems I think she has the wrong pizza place and she lives in Ruskin NOT Bradenton . The people are great here!!! I wont order from anyone else - If you want good food at a reasonable price go here! you be happy you did- .....According to a local
The new older blond woman who is always upfront taking your order is the rudest woman you ever want to meet. First time she waited on me me I was friendly and smiled and not once did she provide eye contact or smile. Acted like she was doing me a favor by taking my order. 2nd visit (and last), she comes to the counter looking at me this time with an expression of disgust. I said hello and then gave her a big smile and said "smile! Smiling always makes one feel better". The place was almost full yet everyone heard her yell at me saying I never smile at her so why should she be nice to me. She went on and on condemning me personally. Now this was the 2nd time I ever saw this woman and everyone in that place heard her having a fit. Since the original owners left, quality has gone downhill extremely. One person who came for a pickup and when she asked him his order number he couldn't remember. She told him to get out. No number no order. This was such an embarrassing experience which as a long time resident I will be sharing with numerous clubs and gyms I frequent. Excellent customer service can make the most below average food taste ever so much better.
Their NY style pizza was very good. The crust was crispy, and there was just the right amount of cheese. Service was friendly and efficient. The salad was actually enough for 2-3 people. The pizza could have used more sauce. Fair prices.
Every experience I've ever had at this bomb restaurant has been excellent. The food, the chef, the staff all welcome you to their little slice of italy....real Italian food.

The food is excellent, the service is good, the price is higher then you would expect from a place like this but considering the price of everything these days it's worth biting the bullet. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the atmosphere is loud, I mean really loud. There is nothing to dampen the sound in this small dining room so customers keep raising their voices to compete with the next table and the volume just keeps going up. Carpet or noise reducing ceiling would help. As it is, try to go when it's not very busy if you intend to have a normal conversation while dining, or order to go.
Great family owned restaurant. Been coming here for many many years. Food portions are plentiful. Atmosphere is comfortable. Service is timely.
