We ordered dinner for 14 people this past Saturday evening. The owner was so incredibly accommodating and offered the freshest and very delicious trays of food! My guests were delighted and so were we!I had seen a comment on the app n&xt [email protected]@r that bashed this great gem of a restaurant due to a unforeseen long wait because of an employee shortage which is a huge problem right now for us small business owners. (I also own a small business and cannot find qualified employees right now).People, please think long and hard before posting a derogatory comment against a hard working, short-staffed, severely effected business owner! We are working sometimes 14-16 hour days to keep up the finest standards we are committed to providing for our customers! Your negative comments can ruin their reputation!This owner, is an upstanding, committed and hard working small business owner whom I had decided to give a try, in fact, to see if the negative comments formally posted were justified, which were unaquivically incorrect!We will definitely return to this restaurant and informed all of our guests to do the same! They all concurred!If you want the freshest, cooked-to-order quality lunch or dinner, give Riviera a try!And no, I am not related to the owner, and in fact had never previously dinedthere before. I just wanted to give them a try prompted by the original post!Don’t hesitate to give them a try!?
Just received my uber eats order and my tiramisu has two LARGE green spots of mold. I am afraid to eat any food from this establishment. How did the employees miss this!? This is why if you portion things out foe togos there should be a date on them. So grossed out. ??
Found Riviera a bit by accident, and SO happy about it. The food is super tasty and reasonably priced. The owner is quite charming and engaged in the business. Small restaurant so it feels more personal. I will definitely be coming back.
If you can wait get a table inside. Have limited seating. Server Claudia was great and very attentive, reminding us that they can't find people to work, so they were short staffed. She did her best. Chicken Francaise was excellent! Worth the wait. Sauce and flavors were great. Spinach and Artichoke Chicken was good also. Can be busy on a Friday night. They have a few tables outside, but they are next to parking lot. Inside was clean and well lit. A little pricy, but food was good.
takeout here does not bang the way in store meals do. we ordered takeout and came 20 minutes past the pickup time (quoted for 40 minutes) and they hadn’t even started our order. every time i dine in the woman owner is very kind and courteous, however this time she was not here and i feel the quality fell short without her. i ordered the alfredo and the chicken is not even breaded the way it was when i order it in store? i added photos for comparison :/
Found a new hidden gem today, Riviera Mediterranean Grille.As soon as you open the door, you'll see it is far above and beyond "just another neighborhood gyro spot".The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, with a menu featuring an array of delicious entrees, sandwiches, and appetizers.They also serve wine and beer. Very fresh and flavorful.Pleasant, friendly, and fast service. I had the Falafel Wrap today, and it's one of the best I've had.We will be back soon to try the entrees.Located in a strip mall, in a nice area near Lakewood Ranch.Worth seeking out!
Just came back from a delicious and delightfulEvening at the Riviera Mediterranean grille. The large sampler appetizer was perfect, especially the babaganoush. The grouper piccata was also seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our waitress Lois and the other man (sorry I didn’t catch his name) made our dining even More enjoyable and I always appreciate when the owner comes out to say hello.You won’t be disappointed .
Owner was really rude. Shouted at me about my to go order. Food was microwaved as I heard them hitting the buttons from their bar area.
What a surprise. Amazingly delicious! The bread was crisp, the butter was creamy and tasty. Greek Salad was a perfect. The chicken Francaise was amazing. I usually don't order pasta dishes, but this was heavenly. The service was very friendly (slow) but completely worth it. We will definitely be back.
Have nothing but positive things to say after my first meal here. They have a sign out front that says “the best gyros in Bradenton” and that is NO LIE. The food was mouth watering, impeccable, and with every bite it was as if I surprised myself seeing how good it was. The place is cute, unassuming and tucked in the back of a strip mall, but has a charming ambiance for the space they have. I just ordered to-go, but will absolutely be back to dine in next time. So glad to have found this gem close to me!
