In my opinion, this place isn't priced too high compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. Huge portions, food was fresh and tasty. Many of their lunch combos are under $8 and include an entree, fried rice, and your choice of soup, egg roll, or can of soda. I had the General Tso Chicken lunch combo and beef lo mein. Both very good. Rainbow Island may be my new favorite Chinese restaurant.
Average Chinese food. Above average pricing. Very polite and generous staff.

A bit pricey I think. However the food is excellent. Their house fried rice and egg rolls are my favorites. Also their sweet & sour chicken is very good. Portions are large. This is my go-to place for Chinese take out.
I’ve lived in Bradenton since 03 and this is my new favorite Chinese spot! I always get their pork lo mein and I love that it is never overly salted like most places.
My husband and roommate love their food. I have yet to find something I like, but more than willing to try different things. Fried rice was very good, as are the eggrolls. My husband swears by the chicken and broccoli.
Amazing service followed by fresh high quality food. I was definitely impressed to say the least.
I WENT THERE TODAY AND PURCHASED THE GENERAL TSO CHICKEN, WITH SHRIMP FRIED RICE. THEY GAVE ME PORK FRIED RICE WHICH I DO NOT EAT. THE CHICKEN Was sour, not fresh. It tasted very old and hard. Had a stomach ake all night. Look like they just warmed it up. Food was terrible. I will never eat here again, or travel this far out. They just lost a customer. I came once a week faithfully., Be aware, of food not being fresh, but reheated and used!!!!!!
We have ordered takeout from here dozens of times and we love it. The quality and portions are excellent and the family atmosphere of how they operate is very welcoming and professional. Don’t let the rather non descript mini mall the are in fool you, the food is outstanding and we keep coming back for more. In fact I’ve just ordered and can’t wait to get my human beef. ?
