Food is good but service is horrible, got charged for a apple pie, and strawberry cheesecake pie but got neither. Ordered 1 large fry and and 1 large red beans and rice. I guess they ran out of fresh and didn't tell me because they substituted my large fry and replaced it with another red beans and rice. They put all of they red beans and rice on 6 regular containers instead of 2 large containers. chicken breast and biscuits were there though. - 32 dollars.also the line was soooo long.They need to shut it down and start again preferably with new works that have previous fast food/ restaurants experience.
Went through the drive through as they are renovating this location. They got my order wrong and gave me regular instead of spicy chicken. I bet they were out of it and didn't want to tell me. They did tell me that they were out of Diet Coke and with no other diet soda I asked for unsweet tea which they also did not have. They gave me a cup of warm sweet tea. I ordered red beans and rice as my side. There was literally 2 spoonfuls of the side in the container. I wonder if they were out of that as well and didn't want to tell me. They asked if I wanted a sauce for the chicken and I told them "no". So they gave me 2 containers of BBQ sauce and that was even on the ticket! I paid $15.50 for this 5 strip inedible meal. I will NEVER go to this location again!
A very unfortunate observation and experience recently. The food quality has deteriorated - Nuggets are false, all greasy breaded; food over cooked and extremely greasy, and prices increased compared to KFC (Whose quality has also fallen). The Red beans and Rice, my favorite was so gross I will never order again..ugh
Don't waste your money, the food is way below average. They have the smallest pieces of chicken money can buy, I've seen pigeons with more meat on them. Two small combos cost $25. The biscuits are terrible, but I will say the mac n cheese wasn't bad, but you only get two mouthfuls at best. During the time I sat in the drive thru, staff turned away three paying customers and locked the dining room door. The tenders( 3 pieces) was maybe 1/4 ounce of meat total. I will never be going to another POPEYE'S. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
Food is good but the experience is not worth it. Not only from the time you pull into the parking lot by the time you pull out of the parking lot, it’s 45 minutes. The lines are always long because you cannot go in and it’s just not worth the hassle for chicken. Very rude young lady at the drive though. Not to mention the location of the speaker is horribly positioned. They need to move it away from the busy road, as no one can hear anyone. I do give them the benefit of the doubt, as I went a second time. It was just as rude from the start. The teenager they have in the drive-through speaker, seems to be in a rush and does not listen. I read the exact number and it shows on the board of what I was ordering, only to be told, move forward. When you arrive to the window of the drive-through, the lady that was there was very sweet and understanding and correct it or order. She did make it right and apologize on the young ladies behalf, but there is no excuse to be rude. Not only the experience once but twice, I will not go back. We live over an hour away to try this location and its not worth the argument or frustration to continue to comeback.
Slowest restaurant in the area. You can go to steak house and eat before you get your food here. I will say the food is usually good but it’s not worth waiting 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich. Best part is when you finally get to the window and everyone is standing around on their phones including the manager.
Love their chicken but as seems to be the norm for some restaurants constantly out of chicken sandwiches and just about everything we asked for they were out of including the mashed potatoes, mild tenders, chicken sandwiches, sweet tea, Mac and cheese, etc. Literally they could've given me a list of what they had as opposed to let me ask for twenty different things they didn't have. After going through all that we just didn't order because there was nothing left we would eat. A definite waste of time but funny. Chicken place out of chicken ?? lol
Asked for all dark I don’t like white meat receipt shows all dark but you can see in picture there is mostly white. Very frustrating I won’t eat the food. Everyone increases there prices but you don’t get what you ordered.
We ordered through the drive through, received our drinks and were told to wait in the parking lot. We waited 10.minutes. I went inside and No one would wait on the front or even acknowledge that there were customers. I saw one person taking a break and one person sitting down in the cook line. I finally saw a person say she was taking an order out. No one ever acknowledged anyone in the front. One customer left due to lack of attention. Very unhappy with this store.
I ordered online and left the house at 10:40 am to pick it up. I arrived at the drive through at 10:53. Three employees were in the dining area sitting, I assume they were on break. One car was in front of me but there was no communication with anyone in the store. Finally he moved to the window. I spoke to the employee taking orders, tole her I wanted 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and to pick up an online order #56. She spoke but I couldn't hear her because the order menu board is very close to the road with loud cars going by. I moved to the window where the car in Front of me was still there. I waited a few more minutes then was able to get to the window, I got my sandwiches and asked about my online order, the manager overheard and replied there was no online orders. I showed them my receipt then they looked at the machine and asked me to park in the lot where I finally recieved my order at 11:22. The food was good but service was horrible.
