My son and I were visiting FL and was staying near the outback, so we frequented there for the trip. The Hostess Dee Dee seems to live there, but she's great! She remembered our faces and our favorite spot to sit in! Everyone there was very friendly. That's why we went back to OB instead of Chili's after the first day. Plus I love the blooming onion.The food was great as well.
Stopped into Outback o. Cortez twice this week. Absolutely love the bartending staff , especially Sophia. My servers Maddie during the week and Rob tonight were outstanding. Last and not least, your management team Jeremy Matt and Taylor are tops. Thank you for two great experiences!
I moved here almost a year ago started walking (A Lot) decided to take a break and walked into the Bradenton Florida Outback. Let’s just say it was the best decision I have made sure nice I got here these are ALL my friendsJess and Sophia spoil me they know what I want and bend over backwards to make sure it is always perfectThe food is fantastic the restaurant is always clean the host are nothing but polite the staff is/has always been very professional and friendlyLike I said they have all become my friends but more like family.I know I’m here to eat and I have never gotten anything that wasn’t perfect.Please go see Sophia Jess and the rest of the gang for a fantastic experienceJudy
I can’t say enough good things about this Outback. I’ve been to many Outback’s, as I travel for work and this has got to be my favorite. I had the best waitress, Sophia. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and quick with everything I asked for, (and it was a lot). It’s so hard to come by, great restaurants with amazing workers. & the food was amazing!!! I thought it was so professional that the manager, I believe his name was Matt. He welcomed me right when I came in and made sure I was comfortable. He even came by after I got my meal to ensure everything was great. Thank you so much Outback for making this an amazing experience, a home away from home.
This is my $60 meal from outback. Steak was raw as you can see in the picture. Order was for a med/well. 2nd you can see the amount of fat this was a 12oz but as you can see at least 5oz is fat. 3 and biggest everything was COLD look at the chucks or fat even the grease in the container had solidified. Salad was room temp. Order placed at 903pm est delivery was 950 I ordered directly on outback website. Got the message my order was on it's way and will be here by 950 that was @10pm the. I get another message my order is on the way. Then another saying it would be delivered by 1030pm. By the time I got the order it had bee. Sitting out over a hr. So here comes the food poison with a raw steak that was left out for over an hr. I then call the store the mgr apologized for the delivery but the food still wasnt cook correctly.
Awesome experience!!! Easy to order over the phone. They had it ready for us when we got there. Great curbside pickup and amazing ? food as always ? ?

Ordered on 4/28/22 after the 4 star review. This order today gets a 2 star not on service but the cook who cooked my steak need to learn what med rare is not give someone a well done. Not like take out can send their steaks back.
Place is racist and unaccommodating. I've never been to a restaurant that refused customers because of the party size. When we requested to have our party be split into 2 I seated because we had children with us, they declined. What a horrible environment. Clearly lay staff and hostess that shared with the entire wait staff that we were a party of 10 and they all stared and gawked. Hospitality is definitely lacking.
Sadly, our experiences at Outback Cortez has worsened over the last couple of years. So bad, in fact, that we decided not to spend our money there and only go/order take away when/if we ever received a gift card. But after our last experience several weeks ago of a long curbside wait of over 20 minutes, during which no one even approached us, ( they weren't at all busy) we went inside the curbside service area. There we found the staff chatting among themselves and our food sitting on the counter. We have now decided to never go to this place again. Food was sub-par and not cooked to order either.
