I’m from Kentucky and live in Texas… I’d like to think I know BBQ pretty well. I tried the meat sampler and the brisket (lean) was phenomenal… I also had the chicken and pulled pork. To be honest most places do pulled pork and chicken/turkey above average and Mission was no different.I would have to say more than anything here was the patriotism and generous customer service. We came in with a crew of 12 (half of which were young kids) and Eric (I think his name was) offered to take our order at the table so we could just try and get everyone settled in. Throughout our meal he came to check on us occasionally and even gifted me a full BBQ sauce (KC sauce) of my favorite… just because.Loved the decor and the spirit of this place. I’ve had many family members who have served and this place was a great way to honor our brave men and women who serve. NOTE: there is a patio area to eat outside as well.Food was great… service was above and beyond.

This was our first time trying this place. The BBQ sandwiches were good. The cole slaw and broccoli salad were good.

Update: I'm still coming frequently! I now go to the one off University and Honore mostly because it's closer to us however I came today after getting my car serviced near by. And if you haven't tried their ribs - do so! They're also great. And I'm a big fan of all of their desserts. They rotate them by seasons (Carrot Cake today) and I've never had a bad one. This is the first time we've been to a Mission BBQ and it's wonderful. We haven't had that good of brisket in a very long time. It was moist, tender and delicious. There are 6 sauces on each table so you can try a variety of them during your meal or just use your favorite. Corn bread comes with your meat and then purchase your choice of sides. I ordered the potato salad and it was great. If you buy the refillable Mission Cup you get refills when you return for just a dollar. And leave room for dessert! They have them on a rotating basis - currently it's peach cobbler and it was delightful! And in case you aren't aware, they're called Mission because they have one - they support veterans so you're supporting a cause as well. This is a great location but they're also opening a branch near UTC that is expected to open this August if that's closer to you. If you are a BBQ fan then this is a must try.

cook decent barbecue, make dessert better.

I ordered the chopped beef brisket it was mostly fat and grease I have been here before and liked their pulled pork but I thought I would try it for the first time .Don’t waste your money . I ended up out the door 20 dollars with two sides.the green beans were good though.

The food is awesome , staff are so helpful and friendly and the concept of the restaurant ( military & services) is brilliant.

I'm from Texas visiting my brother. We know how to do BBQ there ??We go here for lunch. It was pretty good ?I had the brisket with the mac & cheese and cornbread, my brother had the jalapeño & cheddar sausage with beans and cornbread. There are various sauces to try on the table. As a fellow Vet, I loved the atmosphere here ??Thank you to all the workers. Appreciate y'all ?

superbe endroit, ribs au top et prix très correct. On y retournera, je le recommande.

Excellent BBQ place. The food is very good, with options like brisket and pulled pork burgers that are unusual.Service is by ordering at the counter in the style of fast food restaurants and bringing the food to the table. The attention is good and fast, the place is very well placed and is super clean. It is usually very crowded but there is always a table. The setting is excellent, with many American details, both sports and security forces, and the experience of seeing and discovering those details while enjoying great meat prepared excellently is super interesting.
