We've been going to Mattison's Riverwalk Grille since it opened. The food is always good with comparable service. We happened to visit three times in the last couple of weeks and were fortunate to have Bryce as our server. He is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. You can tell making the customers happy is his main priority. We had several different dishes and all were prepared perfectly. I particularly love the Bruschetta. The atmosphere is casual and there is a view of the Manatee River.
Ordered a turkey wrap to go and have to admit was more than satisfied with the meal. The wrap and fries were delicious and the portion sizes we definitely big enough to fill you up.
Our family of seven enjoyed Easter dinner at Mattison's. The lamb chops and lamb shank were "to die for" plus the fillet, pork roast with caramelized onions and grouper. We all cleaned our plates. Mattison's has become our restaurant for Easter every year. It's now a tradition. We also like to stop for dinner before attending plays. Use any excuse to eat here. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE & GREAT PEOPLE.
Our sever Ashley was great!We had 3 chicken chipotle sandwiches.I wasn't happy with my burger size and the manager immediately replaced ALL 3 burgers!They were delicious! The customer service is top notch! The atmosphere is great!Live music, great french fries, great people! Love this place!
We throughly enjoyed our dinner at Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille last night. We heard the live music and decided to stop by for a drink.We sat at the bar, served by Adam, he is super attentive and our drinks came quickly. The live music was fun, a few couples were dancing by the stage. Then I looked around and food looked really delicious and we thought why not stay for dinner.That was a great decision, dinner was really fancy and well prepared.. we were very impressed with the whole wait service team working together.Definitely will return to try their sushi next.
Had a group of 12 for a luncheon on Saturday. Our server Ryan took excellent care of us. He accommodated our request for separate checks with ease. All enjoyed their meals. The manager Liz was present in the dining room and checked in on various tables including ours. We will definitely be back!
It’s an ok location adjacent to the Riverwalk parking lot. You can see the water which is a plus. The atmosphere is outdoorsy and the service was good. The food was mediocre at best. While I liked the presentation of the fried green tomatoes they lacked taste. The Philly cheesesteak was bland and the Asian shrimp wrap was actually done well and the shrimp were fairly good size. Fries were crisp but more warm then hot. Sorry we were not overly impressed.
We could not ask for a more pleasant lunch experience. We frequent Mattison’s Riverwalk because of their consistently excellent food and casual atmosphere. But our visit this past week was especially made pleasant by our waitress Cherry whose friendliness, efficiently and attention to our needs was exemplary. You do it all Mattison’s and having great food AND service is what keeps keeps customers like us coming back.
We are a regular customer, and we had a new waitress, and her name was Ashley. We told her we order our meal on our 2nd drink. She was very pleasant and anticipated when my husband beer was almost finished. She wasn't overpowering. The food was also great. I had the pasta special, and my husband had the salmon. I would recommend the restaurant and ask for Ashley. We were their March 26th.
We had a group of five for dinner on 3/24/22 and each of us enjoyed very tasty meals. But the highlight of our visit was our server ASHLEY. She did an excellent job of taking our orders, with a friendly smile and very good follow-up throughout the entire meal.
