Been going there for a couple years now, I always stop by when out on the bike and I almost always get the lunch special, a personal pizza and a drink for right at $10. I've had the lasagna a couple times (try it with added meatballs!) and it's awesome, the cheesiest lasagna I've ever had. Both the pizza and lasagna will put a cheesy smile on your face. The service is good, and the place is clean. I highly suggest giving it a go!
I can’t rate the food for this place they call a pizza restaurant. Tried to order pizza from Joey D’s but got hung up on twice. Third time was told by a very unprofessional high school sounding girl that they were done taking orders for the night. This was an hour before posted closing time on a Sunday night. It really sounded out of control over the phone and I had to wonder if there was a competent manager on duty. Really sad because my daughter’s family was visiting and thought this pizza sounded good. We ordered from another Bradenton pizza place and it was expensive and as bad as Papa John’s, Domino’s, and Pizza Hut. I’m wondering if there’s good pizza to be found in Bradenton.
Being from Chicago, we think Joey D's is the best pizza in Florida. But this review is on one of your servers, Joseph B. Being in the business myself, I have not encountered a server with his enthusiasm, young or old. This young man amazed us for his caring and love of the job. He saw we had been sitting there and no one waited on us. He came over apologized, took our order and continued to check on us during our meal. All the time having tables inside and outside. Taking care of everyone with ease. This kid is amazing and deserves a nice bonus! Not seen anyone, especially his age, that cared about their job and the customer. He is the epitome of customer service. We will be asking for him when we come in, which is usually once a week. Thank you Joseph B for being amazing. The restaurant business needs more servers like you.
We always have Joey D's carryout at least once while in Bradenton. The deep dish pizza is delicious and we also love the garlic cheese bread. Pick up is always easy and the pizza is always fresh. So good!
Great beef sandwiches, deep dish pizza and Chicago dogs! Chicken and pasta here too. The Chicago sports ambiance is the best this side of the Loop!!!

Fantastic pizza! I wasn't sure about checking out another pizza place and more of a sit down pizza joint but this was soooo goood! The crust was awesome! It was quite the treat over just grabbing a pizza from somewhere else for $10 to eat at home. I'll be back and bringing anyone from out of town that is craving some pizza and a nice time out!
