Everyone loves a great story, especially a great story behind food. My wife and I truly enjoyed the authenticity of Grandma Wan’s Thai cuisine. We can absolutely feel the love between Grandma Wan and her mother. Dining at her food truck is like walking into someone’s house and have a home cook meal. After we finished our special stirred fried noodle and papaya salad, Grandma Wan gave us a bowl of soup she made for herself. The dill, the fish sauce, the calamansi, just amazing home cook meal.
First time eating Thai food, let me tell you from the skewers to the Pad Thai and the chicken soup, everything tasted delicious and most importantly, fresh! , i loved the Tea, it really was a new experience for me, love grandama she is so kind and welcoming she really loves what she does. Definitely will recommend. No pictures tho, i ate everything so fast i forgot to take a couple of shots
Grandma Wan is so kind, friendly, and welcoming. She has the cutest backyard patio with plants to enjoy your food with. It’s very peaceful eating outdoors here. She turned the fan on so that we didn’t get to too, that’s how you know she’s grandma!Her food is nothing short of O.M.G. Amazing! It’s very fresh, well seasoned, flavorful, delicious, and always cooked with love. Everything she makes is like honestly having grandma make it specially just for you.I miss my grandmas.
Just excellent! I know Thai and this is real deal fresh to order home cooking at its best! This is the cleanest place in the county! Sweet lady and food is delicious .. a must try
This was an absolute amazing experience. This lady is one of the sweetest people I have ever encountered and the food was incredible. It really was like being taken care of your grandma, she insisted on having us try different dishes. She treated us like her own and it is definitely worth the stop. We are from out of town from North Carolina and she made us feel right at home in Sarasota. 10/10 would Grandma Wan again.
Amazing experience<3 got to meet my girlfriend’s grandma! Very nice place to take someone to have a very pleasant experience and have the best time and food of your life. The homey environment, the plants and the food it’s amazing. Words can’t explain how amazing this place is. Definitely a 5 star place.

Let’s chat a moment about our experience!! Such an amazing gem! Super clean outdoor seating, her plants are absolutely beautiful and it was like sitting in the garden for lunch! We ordered the special for Wednesday which was Pad Thai. I got a mild spice and my husband always chooses hot! Grandma Wan suggested Thai tea and Thai coffee and they were both fabulous! Our food came out hot, fresh and was absolutely delicious. Grandma Wan told us the story of her mother and that the pad Thai recipe was hers and though her mom passed away she is continuing to cook for her and that it’s always been a passion. She loves what she does and all that love she has for her mom and the recipes she puts straight into her food! I can’t wait to go back! So much love put into every dish
