I just had the worst breakfast I've had in a while. I don't usually complain and never leave reviews but after my experience it was warranted. Our drinks took 20 min. It's Father's day and they were busy, fine. Then they brought everyone's food but mine. The waitress never said, "Sorry, yours will be right out," or anything similar. Just left. Mine food came 10min later. My son tells me his pancakes are blueberry, they were supposed to be chocolate. I start to eat. My potatoes are burnt black and hard on the outside and uncooked on the inside. The coffee was bitter. None of it was remarkable at all. The waitress brings our check. 51$. I tell her my son had the wrong kind of pancake. She says, "oh, well I put the ticket in right." Didn't offer to take anything off the check. Barely said sorry. Worst 60$ I have spent in a while. Very disappointed in this place.
Have been to a few locations. For a chain, this place has awesome breakfast. They have excellent quality food, clean premises, and friendly staff. Book your spot online to reserve a table, otherwise expect to wait for a while for a seat. My first time I went, I sat for about 45 minutes waiting for a seat. Was still worth it, but less than ideal.
For a restaurant that prides itself on breakfast and luncheon fare First Watch is a deeply disappointing restaurant. Using powdered Hollandaise Sauce mix should result in a swift march to the Guillotine. The Eggs Benedict were overcooked and splayed with the awful reconstituted Hollandaise Sauce. Scrambled eggs were likewise dry and overcooked. Best part of the meal were the sugar packets and table salt.
This used to be a 4.5 star place. Going down pretty quickly. The wait staff is overworked. The manager doesn't seem to be on top of things here. They allow waitresses to have those gross long fake nails, which are a health department violation. Orders take much longer than reasonable. Unfortunately, we are crossing this place off our list of go to restaurants.
I usually always order the Kale Tonic here but decided to try the Purple Haze special. Wow! ? Unique & refreshing drink! Ended up ordering 2 with their fabulous avocado ? toast. Absolutely love the Manager at this location. An absolute pleasure to interact with a very hard working human that is also very nice, personable and professional. Petitioning for him to be cloned. ?
Pretty good food I highly recommend the French toast though I would ask for crispy bacon next time and the scrambled eggs are good for the tummy if you need to go to the bathroom ?
Decent food and ok service every time we visit. Not my first choice for breakfast (see what I did there ?).
This review is directed at customers who think the First Watch is their private office. When my family and I were seated in a booth, I observed two older gentleman sitting opposite us who clearly were done breakfast but sat there conducting business, next to them in a six person booth was one young gentlemen with his laptop open conducting business. He also was done breakfast. After I had been served and after we left the table these gentleman were still conducting business. Hey guys, WAITRESSES WORK FOR TIPS and with people out the door waiting to be seated, your taking money out of the waitresses pockets. So, please be considerate of people trying to make a living and customers waiting for your office.
Had the burrito off the daily specials menu and it was great. Very authentic. Million dollar bacon is addicting...and the ham and gruyere omelet was tasty! Also that tequila, pomegranate drink is amazing?
This place could use a few more outdoor tables. Tried eating here twice, but didn't want to wait 30 minutes for an outside table. It was freezing inside both times, so we wanted a table outside. Had to go elsewhere both times. Pretty bummed. Dying to try this place.
