Delicious!!! So many fun dim sum items from which to choose. Each order is around $6 and comes with three pieces. We had the steamed shrimp and pork dumplings (sooo good), shrimp stuffed jalapeños (super spicy AND delicious), baked bbq buns (donut dough meets bbq - astounding), fried shrimp balls (not my favorite but others loved it - too dense for me), and regular pan fried pork dumplings. Creme brulée dim sum tarts for dinner was a perfect ending. I hate pie crust, but this was light and fluffy with a not-too-sweet filling. They really know what their doing! Don't miss the Chow Fun made with homemade noodles they make daily. Also very reasonably priced beer, wine, and sake. We went at 6 on a Wednesday. Small restaurant already filling up, but we got a table.
DimSum King was recommended to me from a friend, and it did not disappoint. I was a little leery when I first arrived, it was smaller than I expected and there weren't many people there. But the DimSum was amazing, everything we tried we loved. The soups are huge! I think we got around 8 bowls of soup from the soup we ordered. The Jasmine Tea was delicious, and we got out of there full for under $50 for 2 of us! We will be back, and going to bring the kids next time, we think they will love it.
Nice food, but they were out of the food we wanted to try. There was also some miscommunication, they missed quite a few of our orders. We ordered 3 bowls of rice coz there were 3 of us, they only listed one. We ordered 2 orders of shumai, they only listed one. We didn't get charged coz they didn't list it in the 1st place, but wish they confirmed what they had listed to make sure they got everything right.
Words can’t express how much I love the food at this place.I am originally from New York/Brooklyn and I know good Chinese food. Every time we come to Sarasota we eat here several times. Everything is delicious and the service is greatAND the prices are great too!Best shrimp toast everBest pork buns everChicken w broccoli is excellent/ not basic at allLove it!!!
We loved our meal. Their black bean says did perfect. The crispy pork rolls were amazing. Everything was well prepared and tasty highly recommend.
Decent dim sum selection. Friendly staff. Had shrimp dumplings, pot stickers, beef buns, soup dumplings. I like dumplings. They hage the usual rice porridge, broccoli, crispy rolls etc. I wish they had the noodles, maybe they are on the full menu. Outside of Boston/NYC/SF this is pretty good.
Dumplings! Really enjoyed the experience. Glad to see few options of dumplings... And one bowl of soup can feed up to 3 people! Server was also very polite, and checked up on everyone who was dining in. I liked this place a lot! Will come back
What a beautiful little restaurant in the heart of university parkway! Their food is sooo flavorful. I recommend the pork steamed buns and chicken Fried rice. I usually order while on my way to work and pick up. The place is always packed. Very authentic food.
Horrible, barely edible food! I hope they do Dim Sum well, because their “fried” rice, General Tso, and spring rolls were garbage!
Legit dim sum in SRQ! I'm skeptical of all the restaurants in the UTC area, but this place was recommended by a trustworthy friend and it did not disappoint. We went on a busy Sunday, they were on a wait. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, and once we sat/ordered, everything came promptly and at a good pace. Everything we had was delicious and tasted fresh & authentic as opposed to the frozen nonsense the few other places who serve dim sum locally try to pass off. We will be back & and we will bring more friends next time!
