Depends what you have as to how good it was. In this case , my better half had ribs and she said they were great. I had fajitas , which were not so good. The salad , which is made mush of was okay at best. The server Amica was excellent considering the lack of staff available
great food and waitress was a gem. Will definitely go back.
Enjoyed lunch here with a couple friends. Delicious onion rings along with the rest of my lunch. Interesting décor with a nice atmosphere. Will return here in the future.
Took a long time to get food ordered wings they were raw the table next to us waited as much as we did and got cold ribs we ended up not eating our food but apart from that the waitress was great she did everything she could to fix it.
I ordered a 20oz Ribeye steak and got big NY Strip. The steak was good but I wanted a ribeye. They were out of porterhouses, roasted chicken, prime rib and few other things. Cold potato warm soup and a over cooked chicken breast. I will not be going back there anytime soon.
A great family place. Get there early or you'll be waiting, it's so popular. Servers were friendly, on top of things with refills and any food delays. The atmosphere was fun, clean, with spacing between tables. We will be back when we are next in town.
The absolute worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Me and a friend came in for dinner and we were seated at a table by the bar. We both ordered medium sirloins. The waitress brought our drinks, salad and bread in a timely manner but when we finally got our steaks they were very well done and looked burnt. The manager Kyle came over apologized offered 20% off the bill and had our food redone. We were fine with that. But an hour goes by….no food, no waitress no manager. Kyle finally comes in from outside along with the waitress and acted surprised that we still did not have our food. He told us the tab was on him and went back to the kitchen. I offered to pay for my beer but he said no. We asked just to put the food in to go containers and asked for steak sauce. The manager offered us bottle of Cody’s steak sauce which obviously the bartender did not hear that part and accused us of stealing in front of his bar guests. After 2 hours we left and guess what the steaks were well done again. The absolute worse place ever and I will not return.
We had an early lunch here on 3/15/22. This was our third attempt to eat here in 3 weeks. Standing room only, 40 minute wait time drove us away in the past. We ate in the bar; our Chopped steak and Country Fried Chicken were excellent. The garlic mashed potatoes are the absolute best. However, we asked for our salad early so we could eat it at our pace before the entrees were delivered. The kitchen team showed up with the meals - I complained about the salad - they left the meals and THEN came back with the salad. On top of everything, four of us at the bar were peacefully discussing the issues with Ukraine. Another bar patron chose to interject his opinion regarding our President, Ukraine and nuclear weapons. His argument was full of profanity, and his anger was sorely misplaced. Despite all, we will continue to recommend this restaurant.
My wife and I have been searching for the best onion rings in the SRQ area and decided to give Cody's a try. It was our regular date night and it was crowded (Friday). We found two seats at the bar and quickly ordered as we were headed to a movie afterwards. They arrived and we were pleasantly surprised. A tall tower of huge , fresh, hot onion rings. They were delicious. We loved them and will go back and have them again. Give them a try. Enjoy.
Yesterday was the first time I came in over 2 years. I haven't been there since because of the old ownership. I heard it was under new management and decided to give it one last shot. It was a great experience. The sirloin was probably the best steak I had ever had and was cooked to perfection. Also Dannie our server was phenomenal. Whatever has changed it was for the better.
