I had the traditional eggs benedict. The hollandaise sauce was yellow and thin and had no taste. The english muffin tasted like saw dust (Walmart?) and was brushed with gross oil butter substitute and had a weird grainy texture. The eggs were very small and the ham was tiny & thin. It came with hash browns and they tasted like stale oil. Very poor quality food. The place was clean and nicely decorated and the waitress was very nice.
Best breakfast in Bradenton FL. When I leave a restaurant wanting to come back with friends and to try more things on the menu, that says a lot! The menu here has a lot to offer. Service was timely and the waiter was friendly and helpful. The avocado toast was one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of avocado toast! I mentioned a few little tweaks that would send their avocado toast through the roof and they said they could accommodate. I cannot wait to go back and try it again, but there are so many yummy items on the menu I want to try something else next time. I kind of don’t want anyone to know about this place because now it will only become more popular. Blue Jasper is a little hidden gem in Bradenton Florida.
Waffles for most. There were 6 of us. Waffles were good. I had the chicken and Waffles. It was good. It was spicy. Send with Chipotle mayo and a spicy syrup. Shared biscuits and gravy. They were unusual but very good. Asked for the syrup to be heated and they did. Bacon was crisp. French toast was good as well. Service was good. Kept our coffee cups full. Would definitely go back as the are plenty of choices for breakfast.
The food here is artfully done. The salad with shrimp, goat cheese, avocado...was over the top. My daughter turned me on to this place. She gets avocado toast...and one time I tasted her chicken and waffles....gonna order that next time. I rarely write reviews....but they deserve a good writeup.
Searching for places to eat in the local area and this place popped up. I don't normally leave reviews but I feel I had to share it. First time in the Blue Jasper Restaurant and You have to go! It's the cutest little spot with amazing food. Staff is really friendly. They know what they are doing and they are talking about .Food is pretty good and fresh , some Jasper Special Crab Cake and Mango Curry Chicken. Highly recommend to everyone!.
What a great spot for breakfast and lunch. Food is great, service outstanding. Keep going Blue Jasper, see you all guys in the morning for delicious breakfast.
The biscuits and gravy were right on the money ?. I think I found my new favorite breakfast spot. Josh brought out our food and was so nice and courteous. Highly recommend this place.
Terrible experience!!!!! Will never return or reccomend this restaurant to anyone.We have been there many times and it had been a favorite place for breakfast.Today was totally the opposite.Over easy eggs were well doneHashbrowns were dark drown, almost blackHad to saw the room temperature pancakes that didn't melt the room temperature butterThe server told us the restaurant had been sold and the new owner was the cook after being asked why the food had changed so much.It was an hour and a half to get our unacceptable so-called breakfast.What a huge disappointment!!!!!!Don't waste your time and money.
Place went extremely down hill with the new owner and new cook. Lox portion was so small I couldn’t see it under the tomato . They were out of the herb cream cheese so the used regular and barely put any on. Onions were slimy. Toast was stale and our omelette was burnt. Hash brown were wet and just thrown on the plate. The whole presentation was ugly. The Only reason this didn’t get a 1 star was our server was nice. This place used to be the best and now just mediocre at best. I do not think we will be returning.
Great food, friendly staff. Came to Anna Maria island for a vacation . Found this place on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. Place has a lot of options including gluten free dishes. Egg Benedict is out of this world , pancakes and waffles are excellent . Definitely will come back.
