Great place, excellent staff super friendly, especially “Heather” she was absolutely amazing, the restaurant look awesome, clean, and attractive to the customers.10000000% recommended.
Not a bad spot. Nice clean bar and restaurant. Ordered a ribeye which was seasoned well and had good flavor. Got a side of fries which were a little over cooked and a house salad. The house salad was strange as it had blueberries and blue cheese in it. Staff was friendly and attentive, even though the bartender was busy working on her own she was absolutely handling the bar area without missing a beat. Got the key lime, my favorite dessert and it did not dissapoint.
We are from Ohio but when we are in Florida we always go to the Oyster Bar. The food is wonderful, the staff is friendly and the Margaritas are great (and I don't even like margaritas anywhere else).
A great restaurant to hang out with family and friends. The waitress is friendly and the environment is cozy. We ordered a oyster sampler that is good. A dozen oysters four flavors, three raw and nine cooked oysters which cost $30. Personally think that raw is the best because can taste the fresh and sweetness of it. We also tried the Florida Viagra. It's a big bloody Mary shot with a big oyster. The all you can eat fish and chips can definitely fill you up with $13.5 daily from 2 to 5 pm.
Voodoo shrimp, Caesar salad. The fish and chips is a very generous portion too.
This was my first time to visit this restaurant this evening. My older brother and wife joined me. The location was very convenient off of Rt. 41, and there was plenty of parking. Our dining experience was very pleasant. The restaurant was nicely and interestingly decorated on the outside and inside, we were greeted upon entering, seating almost immediately, served by "Terrific Tracy", our orders were taken quickly, food arrived to our table in about 10 minutes served hot and delicious, the dining room and our table were clean, and the men's restroom was clean, as well.

Had a great time here with family. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Seafood was fresh and delicious. Would go there again next time I am in the areas.
I’ve been a customer of Anna Maria Oyster bar for over 20 years at multiple locations. The staff is great, drinks are very reasonable, the outdoor dining is very nice and the food is delicious! Big fan of grouper and they do it right!! I’m from out of town and whoever I visit the Sarasota area several times a year, dining at AMOB is a must!
We did take out one night and ate in the other night. Both were great. We even forgot something with the take out and they called and let us know asap. Molly the bartender was super pleasant. The manager(Victor or Vincent, sorry I forget) was great. Grouper was cooked to perfection. The oyster stew was spot on with huge oysters in it. When we ate in the kids are only charged 1 penny per inch of height. You can't beat that. 4 kids ate for less than 2 bucks. Local brews on tap as well.
