Went in ordered 4 combos smoothies came out but food had to wait for 45mins they're no organized they keep taking orders of walk ins and getting more confused....they need better management.In front of me other customers waiting and where given wrong orders.Plus the online orders kept coming and going adding to confusion and mistakes.
Don’t come here look for a better place to eat. The staff here is slow and they don’t have a manager obviously,”. Theres no organization or a team plan. The don’t have the capability of working fast. I hour waiting for my food. They don’t. Know how to manage online and regular orders. It’s crazyy.
Single most horrific experience I’ve ever had. Placed an online order at 1:15 saying it would be ready at 1:40. Received my smoothies at 1:52 and my food at 2:11. Now I’ve been working kitchens for a long time and I understand things can get busy. The real issue under lied with disrespectful employees. Not only yelling at each other but when I told them I had missing items and was waiting they brushed it off and gave rude and snarly responses. On top of this a employee ordered food after I had been waiting for 15 minutes and got their food over 15 minutes before I received mine. Two people ask for refunds and to leave while I was there due to orders being messed up multiple times. I am never one to complain but this experience has been the worst in my entire life. 55 minutes for 2 smoothies and 2 sandwiches while a employee waited 10 for there wrap and smoothie.
no organization, spent 15 minutes waiting in line to place an order, i ended up giving up and going to bramers brazilian cuisine which it’s in the same complex, way better in every aspect.
I would drive 24hrs to another place to get a smoothie or food. The smoothie and flatbread were great but the customer service was terrible. Girl started to take my order then stopped to get someone's order, then rang up the wrong drink. The customer after me had to ask if the girl heard her because she made no sign of understanding her. Just terrible.
I ordered a regular 24 oz. size smoothie and discovered a 12 oz. size cup was put inside the regular 24 oz. therefore in reality I did not get a full-size drink. I am giving two stars instead of one because the smoothies was good and I received a refund. They claim this was an error and did not realize they were not filling up a full 24 oz. cup, however at the Northlake shop I have watched them make the smoothies and they seem to have the size to a science. I understand mistakes happen, unfortunately this mistake cost a possible future repeat customer.
4 year old wanted a blueberry smoothie- so I requested a kids smoothie but instead of strawberry- blueberry instead. The boy at the cashier looked so puzzled at this request. He said he couldn't do it bc he didn't know how many blueberries to put in? I said you would just substitute strawberry with blueberry- same measurement. Still didn't comprehend. So I had to get big size smoothie that had blueberry, strawberry, banana. Instead of a kid'sstrawberry(substitute with blueberry)/banana smoothie bc they can'tcomprehend. Additionally, I had to wait almost 20 minutes. This place is a joke.
Ordered my smoothie on the app 15 minutes before getting to the store still had to wait over 15 minutes in the restaurant while they made orders for people who ordered after me. Tired of being disappointed by the same location

Tropical Cafe is usually the best. This place is bad service, slow and the women working here are unkind. I’ll be skipping this location now.
