Pop Pio is a Latin Restaurant with a Peruvian Colombian flair located in the 500 Ocean Building off Federal Hwy and Ocean Ave. I had the lunch special of the day; steak with beans and plantains. The meal was delicious and the service was great at a fabulous price! They have a full bar and craft and a variety of wine.Nice ambiance and on the quiet side.

Pio pio restaurant is good choice in Boynton Beach area. The place is modern, nice and welcoming, quick to get sitted, no waiting line. The guava juice and the Passion fruit juice are good choices but lots of frosty ice in it. You could request only fish in your ceviche if you rather no shrimps or even if allergies are a problem. The ceviche portion might be on the smaller side with plantains/tostones only, if you are too hungry. The churrasco is a good choice with rice, beans and plaintains. People were nice there.

I hate to do this to them, I have to give a 3 star on this due to the food being a little dry and lacking flavor. I went twice on a Groupon and was a little disappointed. However because it was a Groupon , thankfully I save a few dollars. The staff was nice but when I have to leave my table to walk over to fill my own water, that tells me that the staff doesn’t pay attention to their customers needs.

You must try this place! The food was delicious! We ordered 3 different meals and an appetizers, and it was all great. The drinks were well done. We ordered a caipirinha and passion fruit juice. They were both very refreshing. The service was very good as well. All around a great experience. We will definitely be coming back!

We did a Google search of "Peruvian restaurants near me" and this place popped up!Technically, they offer Colombian fare also - which only made the menu even more excitingWe did the Snapper main and mixed seafood appetizer (tilapia and calamari)Both were excellent- really fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked.Feel Google did a great job with their suggestions this time - We'll go again!

Very generous portions with excellent flavor. We ordered the sampler platter, Bandejo Paisa, and Lomo Saltado. The flavors were simple but excellent. Waitstaff was very friendly and the restaurant itself was extremely clean.

Reservations are recommended for weekend evenings. We had the salmon and veggies, the salmon was perfectly cooked, the veggies were tasty too.

Service was great, food came out quickly.

Excellent! Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this place, because I’m usually underwhelmed by most restaurants that specialize in Latin cuisine. I’m so glad we tried this. The atmosphere was pretty nice, better than what the google photos show. Yes it was plain, but the bar was pretty and added some interest to the overall appearance. It’s nice and new and very clean. I liked that they had cloth tablecloths, that made it feel a little more upscale and like a nice night out. The only small drawback for me was too much air freshener or cleaning product smell, but I’m sensitive to fragrance, so I don’t think it would bother most, my dining partner didn’t seem to even notice it. The service was fantastic. The food was so good. We started with empanadas. Both the beef and the chicken were delicious and generously filled with meat. I’ve hade some at other places that have so much filler they don’t even taste like meat. These seemed to be all meat filling. Very impressed with that. The garlic and habanero sauces they put on the table were what really made all the difference in the whole experience. We really enjoyed those. I had the half rotisserie chicken. It was moist and delicious. The fried cassava was very good, it came out hot and crispy on the outside and tender inside. I can’t wait to go back here.

My favorite spot in Boynton Beach, the food is amazing. Very authentic feel to it, every bite takes you either to Columbia or Peru. The drinks are very well made and pack a punch. Service is beyond expectations. Thank you for making us feel at home!
