There used to be a PA Grill in Boca long ago, so I was excited to find one near where my parents just moved in Boynton.The location is Huge, inside is very spacious!Outside is a little run down but they have a Take out window and that is just super convenient!The servers are very friendly and helpful, pleasant to deal with.The food is awesome, everything a BBQ place should be!I got the baby backs and 1/4 chicken with slaw and corn.It was awesome, but I’m not a fan of the corn, it’s a bit over fire roasted for me.For apps we got the Pickles and Onion Rings, and BOTH we amazing crispy and so yummy!!!They also have an array of BBQ sauces they have on the table and those are super fun to try out and find out which one you like the best!The Cesar Salad is also good and a very decent side item or entree.Kids got the tenders, but we’re not super thrilled with them because they said they were burnt and tasted as so.Maybe some of these issues were due to the later time we ate there, it was after 830p.So maybe earlier dining yields better frying of some foods……I find that in some restaurants, especially lately.Either way, our overall experience here was a 8 out of 10 and we will def be coming back again for more yummy BBQ and Apps!
Very seldom I rate a restaurant less than 5 stars. I am easy. Can't do it this time. The dry BBQ ribs and chicken were pretty, well really bad. The cole.slaw was the only thing that was good.
This is a BBQ joint but I like their fried catfish. Very tasty and not overcooked. We got the same waitress as last time. She is nice and has a great sense of humor.
Just picked up my takeout and the ribs are extremely tiny compared to the other takeout orders I’ve gotten. I guess reducing the quality of your food to save a buck.
We recently placed a decent size office order for take-out. When we got the food back to the office, we were missing a few sides.. no big deal. But the key lime pie was missing too and that made me so sad. Knowing we were too busy to send some one else out, I called the restaurant. I thought, wishful thinking, they'll bring me the pie, baked beans & mashed potatoes - I just knew they would tell me no. HOWEVER, MUCH TO MY SUPRISE! I spoke with Steve & he more than made up for the mistake. Also, the key lime pie is TO DIE FOR! We knew the food was 5 star but can also attest to the service as well!Thank you Steve & staff! Key lime pie is the answer to a Tuesday afternoon pick-me up!
Came in for a quick lunch based on the 4+ star reviews,,, for a restaurant, that’s a huge deal.I arrived super early and the place looked sketchy/abandoned/ worn out from the parking lot. However, the minute I walked inside, it felt vibrant.The place was virtually empty (it was like 11am… so way too early for a crowd)Just went with the daily lunch special, ribs slaw Mac and cornbread.Oh my.So good.Service was excellent, food legit, price competitive.
Never disappointed when I come to this location, the food is always delicious! The meat falls off the bone of ribs, and omg… the collard greens, so good.. I eat here two or three times a months. So it’s definitely worth the price and they are reasonable.
Not bad BBQ but not great. The ribs and chicken were very dry from overcooking. The sides were good beans, collar greens and coleslaw. Cornbread was the best almost like a light sweet cake. Have eaten here before and it seems nothing changes. There are better BBQ places, but this one delivered so we went with them again. My bad.
Eaten here years ago and it wasn’t too bad. I wasn’t thrilled with my Brisket dinner this time around. The portion was very small for the amount they are charging. My son had more meat in his sandwich. Oh and make sure you say you don’t want BBQ sauce put on it before it comes out. They smothered mine in Sauce.
I hadn't been in a while. I had forgotten how amazing the food is. Best Onion Rings, Chicken Wings, Ribs, Potato Salad, Collard Greens... Not much there that I don't like.
