Came across this place accidently while driving around the area. Was seated immediately, service was quick and constant even though it was crowded. Food was delish, and I am looking forward to my next visit.
This diner serves varied interests with busy times for breakfast ,lunch and dinner. During COVID hours the Palm Diner dropped dinner for Sunday to Wednesday but brought back with seasonal visitors February 1. Do check hours before driving as we did in January to find it closed for dinner when we were ready to dine. Palm Diner is fighting to survive with staffing and same good cooking . Prices are $1-3 higher for dinner. Lunch is close to 2021 prices. Breakfast as most places is no bargain but this diner has an exhausting menu to read for breakfast! The tables are full most hours. Our choice to dine was lunch with dropped dinner hours in January . Dinner here is very nice. Most especially we enjoyed for lunch Mousaka, Geek salad, and choice of non alcoholic drink for $10.49. The Greek salad was shared with ample fresh tomato, cucumber, stuffed grape leave, Kalamata olives and plenty of feta in the lettuce. .The nice sized serving of moussaka was a bi different from other chefs in that the meat was crispy ground meat with much potato and eggplant on the bottom The bechamel topping was thick, light and browned nicely There was a strong cinnamon and other seasoning making it wonderful fresh and enjoyable. The other lunch was chopped steak Santorini with fries , bowl of matso ball soup and drink for $11.95. The ground steak was a bit overcooked ( well done when medium requested) WE paid an extra dollar for choice of a homemade desert which we carried home .
Now that the snowbirds are back in Florida. They don't care rude service. And the quality of the food has going down
I always wonder how many stars I should give a place that is not haute cuisine. I decided that there should be categories.. do not compare this diner for example with the Breakers. Compare it to other diners. The only negative in the Palm is the coffee, which is not bad, but a bit weak, but this is a matter of personal taste. Everything else is great. The staff is super friendly and helpful, there are a LOT of choices, the food is very good, and not expensive. As opposed to some other diners, there are at least 20 all inclusive (beverage, sides, entree, dessert) specials As opposed to other local diners that I know, this one opens earlier, at 6:30 for breakfast, and closes at 8:00 PM, As opposed to others, the decor is more refined, and there are lots of booths for a sense of privacy while dining. There is excellent parking and a discount is given for cash. Happy to have found it.
large menu, love there fish dishes,steak,eggplant and liver selections, food is well prepared ,comes with soup or salad, main dish , with 2 sides,french fries outstanding or sweet potato etc. wine or soft drink, dessert, i love their rice pudding. service is outstanding,servers friendly, owners are great . priced @13.99 for a complete dinner. atmosphere is adequate.
I meet my friends there regularly several times a week. The service is always good and friendly. The food is good and affordable. The owner is also a sponsor of our Senior Softball league. We need more businesses like the Palm Diner.
Great food. Reasonable prices and EXCEPTIONAL wait staff! Their early bird specials are all fantastic and you'll have leftovers for the next day. Do not pass up their Greek lemon chicken soup....

WE always get a warm welcome upon entering this establishment. The menu is extensive offering a wide variety of dishes for every taste. Our food always arrives at the perfect temperature and is served by a pleasant wait staff. The specials offered include soup or salad, main entree, a beverage and dessert. Prices are very reasonable, and there is always a thank you for your business at the end of the meal. What else can I ask for?
Price, food quality, portions, service, cleanliness and many choices, ALL 5 ⭐️!!! This is the type of place from back in the day where you feel welcomed and you’re fed homemade food in generous portions for a very nice price and SO MANY CHOICES!
