Now I have been to a few restaurants in my short lifetime of 81 years and I love when I find a really nice restaurant that not only has great food but great service as well. As a newby to the area in Fla. my wife and I have been looking for good places to eat and no one in the area has a really good pizza. Now we find Mamma Mia that has great pizza and also really outstanding Calzone's. The crisp crust with great cheese and spinach was so filling we cut it into quarters and we had a half left over which we took home. A nice salad, crisp and cold was our side dish. The served pasta sauce on the side which is home made and really good. So this is a place we can tell our friends to go to without question. As far as service we had this really upbeat and really young lady named Erin who took really good care to make sure everything was just perfect. What a pleasure to be treated so nicely. Very clean and nice insides make the place a very good looking restaurant. The size of the portions we saw being brought out were very large and the comments were really outstanding. Everything is homemade and prepared fresh. There is a lot of parking in front and seating is fast. This is a place where one of the best pizza pie's anywhere are being served. Recomended for sure is this Gem. Not the cheapest place but the price is well worth it for the quality, size of portions and the really nice service. Thanks for the help Erin,we will be back. oh,yes they have a nice small meeting room in back in case it is needed.
We had dinner with another couple. I had the linguini with clam sauce and the house salad. My husband had the chicken Marsala and past fagiole soup. He felt the chicken was to sweet but he soup was great. Our friends had pizza and baked ziti which they liked. We were able to eat outside. Service was very good. We will eat here again
Almost always totally gratifying! Been going for years and it's great. Spacious parking and no reservations taken so be prepared for a wait if you dine during the typically busy times. Interior is old school low ambiance but the abundant delicious food and good service make that unimportant. You will leave with leftovers! Prices are good and you'd have to look far and wide for a better overall value.
My family and I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. It's always been a great place with great food and a great staff. Today is the 2nd anniversary of my brother's passing, and my mother and I decided to order dinner from Mamma Mias in honor of him. I came in to pick up the food only to be told that part of the order was never even entered, despite it being the FIRST item we ordered. When I expressed confusion, the employee named Gilberto, who had TAKEN the order on the phone, NEVER once apologized or took responsibility for making that error. The other young guy at the register was very helpful. The owner Vinny came over to see if everything was being handled and I explained that I didn't mind waiting for it to be made, but was bothered by the fact that Gilberto was not taking responsibility for his error. Instead, he was saying he thought it was the Seafood Mamma Mia, when that's an ENTIRELY different dish. I let Vinny know that our family has been coming to the restaurant for years and years, and this was such a disappointment on such a painful day and that I'm actually a local guide on Google. It seemed like they were already having some issues with Gilberto. Vinny was very helpful and made sure the mussels came out nice and hot for my mother with NO charge. He definitely made me feel a lot better, and my mother got her mussels. The food was delicious, as always! I'm glad Vinny stepped up to help out.We had fried calamari, mussels marinara, Seafood Mamma Mia, and tiramisu. Everything was wonderful, and it was enjoyed in the memory of my brother ??❤
The food was delicious—authentic Italian flavors and dishes. The pizza is always made to order and fresh and hot. One comes for not only the food but also the atmosphere. The waitstaff is friendly and accommodating. They are genuinely remarkable and treat the customers like family. I love this restaurant, and the quality is superb. Whether you eat in or get it to go or delivered, it is always worth the order. I would recommend this location as a place to eat for anyone looking for Italian cuisine.
Food was amazing, the garlic butter rolls to start were a delightful and delicious surprise. We had two waitress in the beginning. The first waitress was pleasant but then left before we received our check. We would have ordered dessert but it took 25 mins after we completed our main course before the second waitress noticed us and asked if we had been given our check. Great food but the service could’ve been better.
I’ve been a customer of this establishment for many years. The food is delicious and the customer service is on par. However, I was shocked to see the level of price increases in their menu items, and which in some cases were almost an increase of $7.00 for an item. I feel that this is taking advantage of the current economic climate. Patrons will most likely understand an establishment raising their prices somewhat based upon a rise in costs from the suppliers, however, not if such is done in an excessive manor. Very disappointed.
I love this place but lately things have changed. Not sure if they're under new ownership or trying to cut costs. Little things, like the garlic bread used to come dripping and butter and garlic. Now you're lucky to get a speck of garlic on your roll. Overall , still a great place but starting to miss the little things that made the play special.
Excellent restaurant with great service and wonderful selection of food options. We had a great meal and service was very good!!! Menu is extensive and portions were extremely generous!!! We will be back!!
Ok buy not great. Pasta with clam sauce had decent amou t of whole class but no pieces of class in psychology and almost no garlic. Drinks came out with salad, not finished with salad and entree came out. Shrimp parm had very little sauce
