what a great night by myself the food was awesome and service was good also. Would recommend Kimora to anybody

How is it possible that this place has more than 1 star????Every time I have given an opportunity for a different experience it gets worst! They should not be in the people business, the hosts should be attending to dormant non living objects.THEY ARE RUDE, actually rude is a compliment. Forget making a reservations, you stand a better chance at walking in. They close at 10 yet choose to stop taking hibachi seatings at 9:15. Jaylyn/Alisha shouldn’t be the face of any organization just awful!

I ate at the restaurant to try something different. The waitstaff was very attentive and the chef was very entertaining. The ginger salad was delicious and my chicken and shrimp entree with rice and vegetables was enough to eat there and take home the leftovers for later.

I would recommend this place if you’re sitting at the hibachi table where they cook the food in front of you. I usually enjoy myself and the food that way. Yesterday I decided to sit at a table and the service was just ok. The waitress barely made eye contact when speaking. My lobster was super salty and tasted as if it wasn’t fresh. I’m assuming it was a manager who came over to ask me what the issue was. I explained it to him and he said he would fix it. My waitress came back out with what seemed to be the same lobster I sent back but just heated up. The manager never came back to see if the lobster was better. My server didn’t ask to see if the lobster was better. I left the lobster on the table. She looked at it, picked it up and just handed me my bill. No concerns. No apology.

First time having hibachi. This place does it right. The food was so delicious. I can't wait to go back.

I went to this restaurant for the first time for my grandson's birthday celebration. It was awesome. Everyone had a good time and it was a lot of fun. Our hibachi chef was named Xavier and he was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant..

You know when people make a reservation it is to avoid wait time. I would like to preface this by saying I am far from a Karen. But my best friend shouldn’t have to wait an hour and a half on her birthday just because 2 people from our large party weren’t there. I explained several times that those people were coming towards the end I ended up having to explain to my friend why they were coming later and ruining a really good surprise. Why On earth do I have to know what someone that is arriving much later is ordering in order to be seated? Such stupid rules. Inconsiderate. We’ve been customers for years, we know the food is great but that experience will have us NEVER coming again. Y’all missed out on good money from good people. Almost ruined my night but thankfully Longhorn steakhouse has common sense and courtesy and is right next door.

Great food! Everything was cooked perfectly and the chef even left the onions out of my veggies. Will definitely return here when I'm in the mood for some hibachi!

food was delicious. Chef was awesome. friendly staff.

I am giving 3 stars as Kimura has provided my family with many positive memories but after our last 2 visits we will not be back. This use to be a go to spot for my family and I for most special occasion, and my second favorite date night spot prior to the pandemic. We noticed the price raise last time we were there about 6 months(that visit was also a let down as the food was bland and the server got our order wrong). I understand having to raise prices but I don’t understand raising prices cutting back portions. I don’t mind paying for a great meal if it is worth it. Unfortunately kimura is not worth the price increase. I didn’t understand the mandatory 18% tip that was added to a party of 3. I understand that not everyone’s a generous tipper but as we are in the industry we are generous tippers. I can even understand adding a mandatory tip on a large party but a family of 3?!? We still added to the tip to meet our standard tipping requirement but it put a bad taste in my mouth that is was tacked on to a small party.I added a lobster tail to my meal and was charged an additional $27 for one tail on top of the combo meal I was already paying for. When I asked the waitress why I was being charged a whole meal for an add on I was ignored. A simple logical answer may have saved this company this review. We paid for our meal and left feeling disappointed for the second time in a row.I am truly sad that I will have to find a new Japanese steakhouse. Thank you for all the amazing memories, thank you for being there for my pregnancy craving’s, being a go to date night spot, and celebrating 6 out of 8 of my daughters birthdays.
