Used to be my go to place for a great brunch. My visit today was very disappointing experience. The food was terrible, and the replacement even worse. The manager, generally "Mr. Hospitality" was indifferent, not even apologizing. The big thick hand cut slices of homemade rye bread for which they are famous was served in such tiny slices it was absurd. I get costs are up everywhere, but I'd rather pay more than have the quality reduced. The experience was sad.

Neighborhood restaurant with a nice patio, good food and great service. The blueberry pancakes were amazing and would highly recommend for brunch outside. However, the decor inside is dark and drab except for a tacky specials board.

Party of 13 received excellent attention from our waiter, Michael. The menu was varied with delights and specials on the wall to wet your appetite. Huge portions of shrimp and grits, blueberry pancakes, chicken and waffles, etc, adorned with fresh melon. Every plate was picture perfect, and not to forget the Mimosa.

Ordered scrambled eggs and well done home fries eggs were ice cold! they replaced eggs with the same home fries now they were cold. This place is overpriced and over rated.

Had brunch here today - and it was amazing. The flatbreads and bellinis are great. Had the crème brûlée french toast it was fine - huge portion. The best part was the service was the best part. Everyone was gracious and inviting, and our server Mary is THE BEST!!!

The food was excellent, everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The mimosas were, in fairness, only so-so. But even a mediocre mimosa is a great accompaniment to a fantastic breakfast :)

The place was packed, the food was delicious, our server Anthony was nice and prompt, we had crab eggs Benedict, bacon and eggs croissant sandwich and creme brule french toast, all delicious and fairly priced.

Our server Mary was Fantastic. Had breakfast with girlfriends. Food was delicious. Especially, fresh blueberry pancakes and homemade chicken sausage, made daily. ??

Dining at this restaurant is better outside than in. When we came here it was too hot to eat outdoors. I am very sensitive to environments so eating indoors was not conducive to peaceful dining. I didn't think the place was as clean as it could have been. The service was just okay. I'm sure I would have enjoyed my breakfast much more if it wasn't for these factors I just mentioned.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had. Less than two hours after I ate the Nova Benedict with grits on 11/14 (yesterday morning), I was throwing up with severe food poisoning. The intense nausea and vomiting lasted the whole day! From the onset, the nova looked awful and it was mushy and slimy. It was so bad I couldn't eat more than 2 bites. The grits looked days old, and they were rock hard and inedible. What made the situation even worse was that when my fiancé calmly called to report my food poisoning to the restaurant, the lady who answered the phone was incredibly rude and ended up hanging up on us, after angrily making excuses and saying we should contact Door Dash because maybe the driver did something to it. Come on now.... We've ordered from Mimosa Cafe many, many times. It used to be our weekend go-to. But NEVER AGAIN! ps: This is the very first bad review I've ever left for any establishment ever. Maybe if the woman who answered the phone had been more kind, I wouldn't be leaving this review, but after spending the entire day so sick from their food, and the nasty way she spoke to us, I had to let other people know.
