This was our first visit to Tijuana Flats in Estero, Fl, although we have been to others. This place is welcoming with its brightly painted walls of graphics, etc! We ordered at the counter after asking about today's special for $7.99; it was 2 tacos, chips & a Coke product soft drink. What a deal! Food was delivered as we were sitting down, so it was very fast! We chose our taco sauces at the sauce bar & enjoyed our meals. One big difference from the Daytona Tijuanas is that some tables weren't wiped off & we had to go to the counter for refills in our pop. It was not busy today, but the workers were friendly while helping us.
The food was good, but I think when we went all the employees were brand-new because I had the silliest exchange.I asked for some fish tacos and only wanted sour cream and cheese. They said they could not do that because of cross-contamination. I asked if there's any way to get cheese and sour cream on the tacos and they said no, so I said what if they put it on the side and they said they thought they could do that but they have to look into it. LOL.Anyways food was great as always.
Better than Chipotle. Hands down. Garlic lime shrimp bowl is exactly the dish you’re looking for. Don’t hesitate.
We really liked this place! Everything was very fresh! My husband and I split the shrimp bowl. It was very good! The burritos are also very good! The menu has a variety of choices, soft drinks and beer! There’s also a spice bar with different sauces you can try! That was fun! It’s an upbeat restaurant with good service!
The young man Nick with the red facial hair. Was very polite and engaging with the guests. While helping me with the menu and amazing guest service. Never ran out of drink and each staff member was truly kind. I will be coming back here.
Really good Mexican!Came in for lunch and enjoyed our meals. We ordered their chips and queso to start and then my wife had a chicken chimichanga, while I had the chicken quesadilla. The meals were ready and their chips and cheese dip were both really good. I’m used to Mexican where the chips are free, but it wasn’t expensive for the chips and queso.The thing we didn’t care for is that it’s not a full service restaurant, which is what we were looking for. You place your order at the counter and they serve your drinks on the spot, then you find your seat and they bring out your meal when it’s ready.The staff was nice and the meals didn’t take long to come. They have a nice shaded outdoor seating area and the day we were there the breeze made it comfortable.Good spot for lunch but know it’s not full service.

This place is always clean and the food and staff is always consistent. Every Tijuana Flats I've been in I've received the same high quality food and service.
