Fantastic food. Great service. A+

Mahi mahi was a bit over cooked … but a very easily dry fish … no worries my parents were in from Texas and they LOVED THE SERVICE AND FOOD… thank you fish house for a memorable experience ???

When in Bonita we love to dine here. We really loved blackened grouper and coconut shrimp. Beautiful setting, superb food at great prices and lovely staff. Hope to return and def recommend. ???

We visited Memorial Day weekend and the restaurant was very busy, as anticipated. We had a bit of a wait, to be expected. Unfortunately we were seated at a table with a speaker about 3 feet above our heads BLASTING the music being piped throughout the restaurant. We had to ask multiple times to: turn down the music, bring us enough silverware for our table, bring us extra napkins, bring drink refills ( saying please and thank you each time). Our waiter was a sweet kid and it was obvious he was doing the best he could. I guess the food was ok but we were so overwhelmed by what wasn’t happening at our table and by not being able to hear each other it took a lot of the fun out of dining out. Pretty disappointing. Not sure if we’ll be back as our first visit was pretty inauspicious.

Opted to sit inside in the air con. It wasn’t on! Extremely loud. The place needs a good scrub. The food was very average. Grouper bites were not good and coconut shrimp was over cooked. 4% charge to use credit card. Wish we had not made the trek from fmb to this place. Stick to Doc Fords and Dixie’s on San Carlos.

Just been to this restaurant today. 4 of us for lunch. Firstly I will say the fish bites and chowder were all good. I had the grouper bites. I like the white chunky fish. However what I got was over fried rubbery fish. So to prove to myself it was not just me I invited the other 3 on the table to each try a grouper bite without me saying anything. All 3 said it appeared dry and over cooked and was not a nice as the cod fish bites. The coconut shrimp was also over cooked. I mentioned this to the waiter and just got a I’m sorry about that. I left some grouper in the basked and showed him. Not his fault I know. I paid the bill and left the usual gratuity I will not be returning. Had grouper bites in Dixie’s the day before and you can clearly see and taste the difference, hence the No 1 ratings Dixie gets. Dixie was also better value in my opinion.

Sat outside on a Monday night, no line - you can call half an hour before and they pop your name on the waitlist. We sat outside and I had the Grouper sandwich Jamaican Jerk flavour - it was lovely, but too many fries. Mrs had Coconut Shrimp, which was really nice too. Served by Chase, who was a really helpful guy. Recommended!

I often drive by this restaurant and the parking lot is always full so I thought it must be good. We tried it on a weekend and was disappointed. They don't take reservations but you can call 30 minutes in advance to get your name on the list which we did. When we arrived, the front parking lot was full but had signs with additional parking lot next door so we parked in that lot, it's a little bit of a walk but didn't mind it (take your umbrella, we got caught during a rain shower and had to run to car). We were seated fairly quickly, there's 3 seating areas, inside with AC (although it didn't feel like it was working very well) it's in the bar area with tables, rather small and crowded. Then there's an outdoor area with tables and an area that's enclosed with screen just ceiling fans. We ate inside and it was very loud - we couldn't hear each other talking. The bar area was loud with TV's. We noticed the place didn't seem very clean - menus, walls and windows looked dirty so it made us wonder about the silverware and food prep. Then after we ordered we noticed a sign on the wall that a 4% charge will be added to bill for credit card charges but they will take charge off if you pay cash which was odd. So we came up with the cash so not to be charged 4%, would have liked to know that up front but they did remove charge. We just got water and 2 meals and it was around $50 - not including tip. I had broiled shrimp and my husband had crab cakes. We didn't think it was that great or special for the price. You get two vegetables. I did like the hush puppies. They sell T-shirts with they're logo on it. I'd say it's more of a tourist attraction. Not sure we'll be going back just wasn't overly impressed. The server was very nice and attentive on a positive note.

Friendly and efficient service. Very busy place. Cold brews on a hot day alongside some delicious shrimp kabobs.we sat outside. Flys we’re annoying but wanted to be near the water. Inside bar was hopping. It was a Friday night about 5ish. Parking is the only negative. We lucked out with one, thankfully!

We’ve been here periodically over the last 15 years. There have been changes since the pandemic, Negatives. No draft beer whatsoever. 4% credit card fee.Food variable, but not as good as it’s been in the past. Positives. Great spot on the water with inside, outside and screened patio areas for dining. Good seafood. Good vibe So,would we go back ? Yes
