I came to Florida on vacation and my aunt and I decided to have dinner here. We started with sangria. They said it was buy one get one free, some type of everyday happy hour special. We each ordered one. The waitress brought us FOUR! We were thinking we would each get 1. Neither of us are big drinkers and we were sitting outside. It was 90 degrees and by the time we got to the second one it was totally watered down and melted. I questioned the waitress and she was completely unsympathetic and said that’s just how they do things. We had looked at the menu and were so excited to get fried clams. Apparently they haven’t had them in 2 years but haven’t bothered to change the menu. We opted for hot steamed shrimp and they were excellent. We both ordered crab cakes. They weren’t the best I ever had but far from the worst. The manager visited our table and was very pleasant to talk with. We shared key lime pie and it was good. Not sure if I’d go back. Mostly because the whole drink thing literally left a bad taste in my mouth. I feel like the server just did this to increase her check average. With all of the tourists in this area and senior citizens, I find it hard to believe we are the only ones who experienced this confusion. I’ve served and managed in restaurants in the past and in both positions I would have offered to remove the unwanted drinks.
Incredible service, Sam our server is a rock star..never more than 30 seconds away when you wanted something. The food is fantastic. Recommend you try the cheesy crab dip with some of their 1 pepper hot sauce(use some caution, scotch bonnets and habenero pepper base) blackened chicken tacos were really tasty. The key lime pie is Incredible also. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Bonita Springs. Very fun, lively place to eat and grab a cold drink..
First time visit here and couldn't be more impressed. Warm welcome and no time at all to get seated - our server keV was attentive but not imposing. The food, buffalo shrimp plus garlic mash for me and cocunut shrimp for the Mrs was delicious.Tp top it all, we had two of the managers come over to check on us, as to service levels. Both Roy and Daphne created s great impression and were the perfect hosts. We will be back for sure. Highly recommended
We’ve eaten here many times and usually have a wonderful experience. We had been at the beach most of the day with 3 hungry kids. Anyway- when they brought the food out- everyone’s food except mine came out. We were raised with manners, so, no one eats until everyone is served. After about 10 minutes, our waiter walked by us, and when he came back we asked about it (my kids are starving and just staring at their food while everything gets cold). Finally, the manager came out and offered me a soup or salad- (I almost said yes just so everyone else could eat- but I didn’t want it). He didn’t offer to heat up everyone else’s food since it was all cold or a desert to go- or comp any of our appetizers or anything. My kids were a little wound probably making it more stressful for everyone- and yeah- we will probably go back- this is a rare occasion as the service is usually excellent.
This spot is much better than the same visited in Ft Myers, however it brings to my attention the extremely breather was the calamari and the oyster very small.Good on drinks for all day happy hour and the service was good as well. All environment wit good peoples and very clean all the restaurant area.
What has happened to this place? Ate there last night at 3:45 and they were not busy. Got a table outside the saving grace of the whole visit was Tia who was our server. We have eaten there many years. After last night I’m not sure we will go back. It took almost a half an hour to get our food. We both ordered platters but instead of getting two sides we got two Caesars which counted for two sides and then we split an order of fries. I had fried shrimp and they were tiny, tasteless, and a total disappointment. My husband had grilled grouper which was OK he said. The Caesar salads were chilled,Small in size and tasted good. The french fries. I don’t even know where to begin. They were old and over cooked and dark brown and if you cracked one and a half it looked shrunken and almost powdery. We both had sweet tea. The server gave us an option of another order of fries or she would remove it from the bill so she did take the charge of the fries off the check. Now. For two glasses of sweet tea, one piece of grouper, an order of shrimp, two Caesar salads which were small, our bill was $68 including tip. Good grief we could’ve eaten at the outback and gotten a steak dinner for that price. It has become nothing more than a tourist trap and the staff seems overwhelmed and the food was actually pretty lousy. As we were walking to the car my husband said we should’ve eaten at McDonald’s. Sorry pinchers but that is the worst meal we have eaten outIn a very long time. Sad to see this happen because it used to be one of our favorites.
Went to grab a post-sunset dinner with my husband. The food was all fine, it is just terrible over-priced for what it is - that’s where they lost a star for me. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu has lots of options. The BOGO beer makes it seem like a decent deal. I wish they had cooked the shrimp and crab legs with flavoring and I hadn’t had to just ask for old bay or more lemons. Seems odds that a seafood joint wouldn’t have don’t that by default.
Excellent service! Fun and popular place; food was very .good. I especially liked the cheesy crab dip and my orange mojito. Dog friendly patio.
Fantastic service, food and ambience. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. The Stone Crab Claws were delicious. A very friendly a welcoming place with a variety of eating areas inside and out.
Great food selections, hot and made to order. Good drink specials. Servers and staff were great. Lots of outdoor seating, very tight indoor seating. Same menu as Tin City.
