This is my family’s favorite Thai restaurant in the area! We’ve eaten here in person several times and have also had it delivered. We’ve tried probably 15 different dishes here and they are all excellent. The sushi is also pretty good - it’s expensive, but the rolls are large.
I stopped here after driving by for the past few days with folks that were here visiting as we rented a condo down by Lovers Key Park. My husband and I traveled to Thailand for his work so, we love Thai anytime we can get it. Let's just say this place is great the staff is so friendly, and I enjoyed the Massaman Chicken Curry lunch portion and of course a Thai beer. The dishes presentation was spot on, and the slice of avocado and cashews were a nice touch. There were lots of chicken, onions and potatoes in it worth the price. I ordered mild for spice, and I actually could have gone up to a medium for my liking. I highly recommend this place so, give it a try the next time you're on your way off the beach or heading to the beach. I know there are some negative comments on here and I'm not sure why to be honest so, best thing is to stop in and try it for yourself. Cheers!
Great sushi, with a large selection of both sashimi and american style rolls along with a decent selection of other dishes. Quick service. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!!
3.5 stars. Was digging Thai so we stopped here instead of having seafood. Restaurant was completely packed but we were able to sit outside.Prices are $16-$25 and higher. So here's what we ordered:1. Thai Spring Roll ($4.95). Crunchy but underwhelming. Two rolls diagonally cut. No garnish or flair. Skip.2. Shrimp Tempura With Vegetables ($11.95). Perfectly done. Worth an order though a few extra pieces of vegetables would have been appreciated.3. Lab Kai ($10.95). Disappointing. This was nothing like what we have had before in Thailand as well as at other restauarants. Not worth ordering.4. Miso soup ($3.95). Meh. Wife did not like it. $1.95 to $2.50 for the single serve order would be more.appropriate.5. Chicken Thai Fried Rice ($16.95). Not much veggies or color. Son liked it.6. Pork Pad Thai ($16.95). No crushed peanuts or unique presentation. Other son liked it and said the flavors were good.7. Vegetable Tempura ($16.95). Wife had no complaints and really enjoyed her entree.8. Pork Pad Lah ($16.95). Good flavors. Not enough flat noodles though. Spicy too.Overall with tip, dinner ran us $122. Prices are likely in line with the market, but there is much room for improvement. A little extra attention to presentation and some color would help. Or maybe it was just a busy evening so the kitchen team just didn't worry so much. While leaving, we all were thankful to have had another meal but felt Muji did not come close to some of our favorite Thai experiences.
Great Sushi, but my wife's Chicken Thai Fried Rice was a bit underwhelming. Not much for chicken. We would go back, but we would stick to the Dragon Roll or another roll.
Became our family’s favorite Asian restaurant in the area ever since they’ve opened! My husband firmly believes that they serve the best crab rangoons in US, their duck is to die for and so is their whole fried snapper. The owner and the staff are incredibly attentive and know regulars by name, we love coming to Muji, would give them 7 stars if we could.
4 for dinner resulted in 4 BAD dinners. All 4 of us concluded that we did not know how this restaurant got 5 stars. Worst Pad Thai I had, ever. Bad Green Curry Pork. We were 4 at the table & all asked for our dishes to be Medium spicy. Some of us got not spice at all, others incredibly spicy. Yes, we each tried the 4 dishes. Having had Thai food in Thailand and elsewhere in North American numerous times, it was very disappointing to eat at this place.
We ❤️ Muji! Try the fried rice and muji sushi roll - they’re insanely good! The staff are super nice and they play Thai cooking videos on their tvs - educational and entertaining haha. Cute, cute place.
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Wait staff were very friendly. Both our appetizer and meals were excellent, and my wife commented that it was very authentic thai.
“Thai food ain't about simplicity. It's about the juggling of disparate elements to create a harmonious finish. Like a complex musical chord it's got to have a smooth surface but it doesn't matter what's happening underneath. Simplicity isn't the dictum here, at all. Some westerners think it's a jumble of flavours, but to a Thai that's important, it's the complexity they delight in.”
