The absolute best authentic Hispanic food anywhere in Southwest Florida, and the best I've had personally outside of Mexico. Start your Maria's experience off on a Taco Tuesday. Every Tuesday they have dollar tacos, and live music. The staff is extremely friendly and hard working. Most of the staff appear to be related and their kids (of working age) are in there working with them on busy days. From the food, which has become a local staple, to the service, to the atmosphere, Maria's is the best night out in the area.
This place is terrible. Please save your time and money and go elsewhere. Good took for ever for something so simple and mostly pre made. Beans were so salty. Rice was cold and old. Steak was burnt. Customer services awful. They didn’t give two flying effs. Just aweful. Should be closed.
Came on Taco Tuesday. Never in my 30 years i heard that you don't get waters for your table and you need to pay for it in order to receive water ?!?!? I ate in 300 different restaurants on 2 continents and numerous countries and i never had been refused to have tap water. We waited 40 minutes for 10 tacos and they were more than awful. But,while we been there for an hour,maybe 5 people walked in so i guess nobody wants to pay for water and horrible tacos. Great business method ?

On the fence because we chose taco Tuesday to dine there. I'd prefer a full menu but everyone lines up on Tuesday to order dine in or take out tacos. Chips and salsa were chips and picante sauce. The chips were very good. But I'd prefer a good salsa, both mild and hot instead of picante. We'll have to try on a normal dine in night. By the way, the beans are excellent!

Nice find. I ate there one night with my wife after we were unable to get into another restaurant. I was fairly pleased with my serving of enchiladas but so hot I'm afraid they are not for just anyone. The enchiladas were great but I lived with them for a couple of days. Btw, the staff was great.
I understand that in today's world it's hard to find workers, so service here lacked a little bit. The waiter we had was rushing all over doing his best, but we ordered our second margaritas when we placed our meal order and didn't get them till well after we finished our meals. Our appetizers and my wife's meal were beyond excellent, the food was well prepared and tasted great, my fajitas however did not come out on a sizzling hot platter as I witnessed at the table next to us. Regular margarita was also $10 which I find excessive. Even though the food tasted great you probably will not return.
We have tried many local Mexican restaurants…and so far Maria’s is the best! Very authentic and excellent flavors. Service is just a little slow but worth it.
