***SLOW EVERYTHING*** bad service and slow with getting our sushi out to the table. Scammed us of $200. Our waiter ran out to us in the parking lot to take an extra 200 from us, unbelievable.Don’t come here if you are willing to lose your cash to the waiters. Only pay card if you want to risk coming here.
Very good food and friendly atmosphere.
Cute place and good food.
The happy hour before 6 PM is a pretty good deal for hibachi and even better for those who like sushi. The outside seating is nice, with Koi fish and an outside bar.I imagine the outside seating will be amazing during the winter.
We stopped in for dinner. We had a wonderful server/bartender Steven!! He was great, attentive and personable. Our drinks were great and the food was very good! We will definitely go back and ask for him again!!
Walked in and sat at the bar and waited 10 minutes and no one came up to us. So we walked out. The place was empty. No wonder.
Had a reservation with two confirmations which they mysteriously didn't have when we arrived. Told us we would have a table in 10 minutes. After 30 minutes, we had to inquire and were told it was going to be more time. If it wasn't a grad celebration for my son, I would have walked out but I didn't want to disappoint the rest of the party. Food was mediocre at best and service was disastrous.
We had a great date night at Tokyo Bay. We sat at the sushi bar and Noah immediately greeted us and made us feel right at home! He made a delicious appetizer and our sushi dinner. He was personable and smart about his work. Thank you Noah for a great first experience at Tokyo Bay!
The restaurant has two distinct venues, japanese hibachi where your food is prepared at your table and traditional dining. Given the current COVID situation, we opted for traditional dining. Our reservations were at 5:30. We were seated promptly. We ordered several combo diners. With the chicken and filet, the filet was well prepared, the chicken on the other hand was quite dry, like it had been prepared hours ago. Someone ordered the chicken and steak, here the steak was way over cooked. All around the fried rice side dish was dry and flavorless. Of the four of us, there were three thumbs down and one. "this was ok". A very disappointing dinner given the reviews. we. read.
I came here with my family at around 3:30 PM and we were hoping to be seated outside for happy hour. The bartender outside very rudely told us they are not open outdoors until 4 PM, so we proceeded to be seated indoors. About 10 minutes later, another family walks in and they are happily seated outside. We are very understanding of the rules, however they should be applied to all customers. We really liked our server, Mia, and the sushi was lovely, however, this unfair experience is leading me to give a poor review. I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but this preferential treatment could have something to do with race. All I ask is that going forward, the same rules are applied equally to everyone.
