Great little spot right off a main thorough way. The staff is friendly and attentive. The bar is always talkative and if you are looking to watch sports they have SO MANY TVs. Island vibes everywhere and beer is kept cold in a wonderful kayak. If the bar at the beginning is packed, just move on through to either of the other expanded rooms with additional seating, both low top and high top options.
Food was good but accidentally walked past a dirty kitchen so that wasn't so nice. Service was unfortunate as the server seemed more interested in a table of 10 than just 2 of us. Menu is limited and they had no croissants for the lunchtime special which was ham and cheese on a crossaint at noon. Took 45 minutes for food. Place was almost empty other than the table of 10 and a family on vacation who also ordered, recieved and ate before we ever were served.
Island House Cafe still feels like the old Florida Small time restaurants that are going away, although they have a limited menu pizzas and hot dogs and only serve beer and wine the place is clean and colorful inside, we were there Friday night and there was entertainment with Stephen Clark he did a great job singing and playing lots of familiar songs and some of his own.

Extremely clean! Great atmosphere! We stopped in for lunch. Fast and FRESH! Pork and Chicken tacos were both great and the wedge perfect, crisp and real bacon. Definitely a new lunch spot for us!
Although I checked the menu on the internet, it was totally different. They had just reopened Superbowl Sunday. They had plenty of beer and wine selections. If you like pizza or hot dogs, you're in the right place . It's cute, very beachie. They have entertainment and dog's are welcome. As for the bartenders - one was very pleasant and personable, the other didn't crack a smile. Thank God they pool their tips because the crabby bartender would have gotten an 8% tip.Try it, you might like it.
The owners are fabulous!!❤️. The pizza, dogs, and subs are wonderfully delicious. The entertainment is superb! A perfect place for beer, wine, and fun?
The Original Island House will be opening back up soon. Great food, Great Friends, and Cold Drinks. Stay tuned for the date we can's wait to see everyone !!

My party of two arrived Saturday 12/4 at 4:35pm. Bartender said sit anywhere (it was not crowded). Sat there for 40 minutes. Wait staff walked by us several times but ignored us . Never once made eye contact or acknowledged our existence. So we got up and left (no one said goodbye), Will never go back and recommend that you don't either. Tom T.
