Fun & delicious. The atmosphere is fun with an original decor. The staff was very attentive. The food was good and plentiful.
Our friends Lou and Marie have suggested eating here for a few weeks. So why not go the their busiest time of year....Cinco de Mayo. We arrived at 4 o'clock before they stated to get crowded. The wait was 10 minutes. A great start. We shown to a table and were greeted by a friendly Margarita. We all started with their Juan's Ultimate Margarita. Wow the best I've ever had. We ordered an assortment of dishes: a grilled shrimp and a chicken quesadilla and a build your own nachos with all the fixings. The portions were huge that we had leftovers to take home to enjoy. Kudos to Margarita our wonderful and patient waitress. And congrats to her. We will definitely return for another great meal.
Went with my in-laws for a girls lunch and we loved it! Price was reasonable based on the incredibly generous portion size. Margaritas were good. Guacamole was fresh. The salsa was a treat to be able to mix and match. I had the chicken tamales which were huge and comparable to the homemade tamales my friend makes. Food that is almost as good as homemade is always a hit for me. Definitely a new favorite when visiting!
Amazing food and the best service. Young man who was professional and courteous. Best food our whole vacation. Authentic and delicious! Thank you.
My wife and I have vacationed in Ft. Myers beach for over 11 years. We have always driven by until tonight! Food was amazing and so was the service! Alonzo was our server and he is the man!! Will not disappoint!
It has been a few years since we were in town. This was one of my favorite mexican restaurants. But this last time we were there the chicken in the enchiladas was very dry. It seemed like it was boiled shredded chicken. No flavor. The beef Tamale I had also was not as good as it used to be.Maybe a new cook or bad day. Will give them one more try in the future.
Had dinner there tonight. We had fajitas, burritos, chimichanga and a rice bowl. Delicious. As were the margs. Service was very good. Funny thing on the way out the door, I overheard the hostess telling a coworker that someone complained about how bad the food was. I’m a total foodie. It was great. Whoever that person was must have been having a bad night or trying for a comp. We loved it.
Just had some of The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Clean, great service. A must if your in the area!
Chips and Salsa was so good. Love the trio of salsa and Pico d Gallo. I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas. The beans and rice was dry and not very tasty. The steak was rubbery and tasted old. My hon ordered Mahi Mahi and asked the server to make sure not to over cook it. It was over cooked. Surprisingly, this place was full to capacity. Apparently the usual over 60 patrons love this place. It was a revolving door. Packed inside and outside,, with a huge number of people waiting to be seated. On a positive, the staff was super friendly. The atmosphere comfortable. But, we will not return.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Iguana Mia. Although they don’t take reservations and we were told the wait would be 40 minutes, we were able to order drinks and they sat our table of six in under 20 minutes. The staff was friendly, well organized and very efficient. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the wide array of salsas that were available. I had the carnitas and my wife had the fish tacos. The servings were generous and well prepared. When it came to splitting our checks, the staff handled it expertly and we left with a smile. Thank you Iguana Mia! So much better than Bone Hook Brewery.
