I go in to pick up my order. I say hello and smile. Was totally ignored. they hand me my pizza. One of the customers opens my box and looks at my pizza. I'm like really? Am I at the zoo? The first pizza the Dow was hard as a rock. So when I ordered online. They have a comment section on how you want your pizza. I made a friendly request that the Dow isn't cooked to much. And then said Thank You.So its still chewable without breaking your teeth. I truly believe this brought his unfriendly attitude. You are a piece of work dude. I cant make this up !

This was a recommendation from One Bite Pizza Reviews. All i can say is..that man knows pizza! This was the classic reinvented. Quality ingredients, superb crust,cooked well and drizzled with their own garlic pesto. This pizza is worth the two hour round trip from home.

We had heard about Grandpa's but had never tried it. We are glad that we finally did try it. The pizza was delicious and made the way we like it.
This was my first time to order pizza from Grandpa’s pizza on Old 41, Bonita Springs.I am originally from PA where pizza was king so for me to say this was the best I’ve had in FL really speaks volumes! I ordered the large Meat Lovers for my family and it had EXACTLY the right amt. of grease, sauce and I had them add some “Fresh Liquid Garlic” OMG, I just wish I could eat pizza every day from there but unfortunately I don’t think my dr. Would approve ?. But hey once a week works, if you haven’t tried it and you like PA, NY and or Chicago pizza, then you can’t beat Grandpa’s.
Moved locally from Boston a year ago and still experimenting to find decent pizza. Tried Grandpa's for the first time tonight. Ordered on line just after 6 and it confirmed the order for pickup at 7:15 to 7:30. Just figured they exaggerated and got there at 6:45. Turns out this place was mobbed and it really was 7:30. I'll know the next time and preorder for when I want it.The pizza was very good for SW Florida and is on par with what I am used to. The garlic oil drizzled on top is a nice touch. The owner seems like a real nice guy too. Will certainly be back.
It's a no big deal hole in the wall place, but boy can they make pizza. I don't know if "Grandpa" was Italian or not, but whatever he did, he did great. I decided to try it out, as it was my turn to bring dinner home. Looking on the menu I saw they had chicken wings, and decided to include that with the meal...Going in you met by a stack of pizza boxes, ready to serve the flock of customers to be stopping in later. I got the pizza loaded with meat and veggies, half-baked, along with the wings.Twenty minutes before and, I popped the pie in a hot oven.It came out with a beautiful bubbly tanned and cheesy crust.My wife came home from work, ravenous.I sat her down, poured her a glass of wine and presented her with the piping hot pie and wings.Boy was I hero.Crust was crispy and this side of chewy, with a delicious tomato sauce covered by a sheet of melted cheese, imbedded with meat and veggies in every bite.It's worth the trip, and worth the wait; Grandpa knows!
Had to move away 2 years ago and have returned. His pizza was the benchmark for all other pizzas. We longed for a good pizza in Indiana, but found ourselves wishing we had Grandpa's Pizza every time. Tonight, Finally, we got to have it. It was, without a doubt, the best Grandma's pizza I've ever had, and I've had them in Pennsylvania, New York, Chicago. This is the best. Don't miss it. Also, a heads up. Cash only and carry out. They get busy. Their deluxe pizza is great too. He does a garlic oil..ak for it. Oh My. Order enough for leftovers if you can....
Ordered a large Cheese to go well done. The fresh garlic that was added was a great addition. Delicious pizza that was perfectly cooked. Felt it had very authentic flavor. Probably the best pizza I’ve had in Southwest Florida. Had heard great things and they certainly lived up to the hype. Great service and friendly owners. Will be back
