WOW! We had to have over 25 milkshakes at the last minute for our camp staff. Thank heavens for Heaven Shakes! They have officially saved the day at Summer Camp for all of our amazing staff and team leaders. We would like to extend an extra special to the delightful manager, Kate. Thank you so much, Kate!!!
Great local place! A must to try! They have a good variety of flavors, good ice cream, and keep the place clean! There is outside seating available and always get us helped pretty quickly too!
My husband got coffee ice cream and I got chocolate ice cream with Gummy bears that she put on with her BARE hands. Very unprofessional I will be reporting her to higher ups I did not want to make a Scene in front of everyone. I could tell when I walked in she was in a bad mood well guess what. Smile people are coming out to give the place business. And money we would normally come there 1 time a week we'll after Tonight HELL NO NOT ANYMORE!! I rater give my money and business to someone who wants it also its a sanitation violation to not use a scoop or glove to hand any food going in someone's mouth. KATHY IS RUDE!!!!! ALSO I DID NOT EAT MY ICE CREAM BECAUAE NO BODY WANTS UR NASTY HANDS ON THERE FOOD. IM PLANNING ON BLASTING YOU ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA. KNOW HOW TO DO THI NGS THE RIGHT WAY BECAUSE AFTER TONIGHT YOU WILL.
Love the ice cream here! Sadly, they seem understaffed like many places these days, so the service was efficient but not friendly. This has not been my experience in the past and I will continue to patron this business with my family.
Ussuming this was a holy minded family business, I and my family visit this place every time we come to Bonita. I've noticed in the past the the older lady(assuming the owner) wasn't having a good day.. After our experience tonight and reading other reviews it seems very clear that this woman has no concern for the future of this business. She now has a younger girl in there with the same attitude unfortunately. The older gentleman has always been a pleasure doing business with! Ive had conversation with him long enough to finish my treat at the counter! The ice cream is great, but I'm afraid we will venture to find another business to frequent.. Wish them the best.. My family went there today against my better judgment. Once again the owner was extremely rude to us. We sat outside where us was very sunny. We opened one of the umbrellas only to have the older lady who I’m guessing is the owner come out and very rudely tell us “ we keep the umbrellas closed for a reason” as she closed the unbearable on us leaving us to sit in the hot Sun and eat our ice cream with our 4 year old. Only to hear a group near us say they too will never come back here because every time they come she is so mean to them. The only time I’ve had a decent experience is when she wasn’t there. Every time I’ve gone there she has always with out fail seemed bothered by us and everyone. I hope she can see this and see how her poor attitude towards her paying customers is ruining her reputation and business. It’s a ice cream shop smile for crying out loud or stay on the back where you don’t interact with customers and let others that actually like people handle the customer interactions. We won’t go back.
Ice cream was good service/owner was terribly rude! It’s unfortunate because we are new to the area and certainly would have become regulars but we wont return. My husband and i each ordered a single serving i was unfamiliar with a new flavor and when i asked if she would mind adding a very small dollop on top to taste the flavor i was told”no you can not have a small dollop if you want a taste i have to charge you for a double”. At the additional cost of $5 extra dollars for a taste? Really. Mind you the tone and attitude and demeanor was terribly obnoxious. I recommend you go elsewhere. In fact try the ice cream store next to the infamous Grandpop Pa’s just down the road the owners there are happy friendly and courteous.
If I could give them zero stars I would. The ice cream is fine but the customer service is the absolute worst!! My husband and I have been here 3 times during our stay here this winter and each time we've left disappointed, but tonight's visit takes the cake. We both ordered a shake. I watched the girl making mine and she was having a very difficult time scooping the ice cream. She finally gave up and proceeded to finish making the shake. When she gave it to me it was only about 3/4 full and more like a thick glass of milk rather than a shake. I very politely asked her to please fill the cup and make it a bit thicker. These are $8 shakes so I didn't feel my request was unreasonable. Her co-worker told her she couldn't add to the shake but instead had to make a new one. The co-worker also accused me of drinking the shake and that was why it wasn't full. We were still waiting on my husband's shake and didn't even have a straw yet. Our scooper began making another shake but in the meantime I watched the co-worker go to the back and tell the manager the situation. As she was talking to him he looked up and looked straight at me. At this point I expected him to come out and talk to us but instead they both stood back there exchanging laughs. Again, I watched our scooper as she made me a new shake. This time she filled it to where it was overflowing. She gestured to me to make sure I saw that it was completely full. She wiped the cup, put the lid on it so it spilled over everywhere. She hastily wiped the cup again. As she handed it to me still dripping everywhere, I asked for another cup. Her co-worker butted in again and said she'd have to charge me for the cup. I told her I wasn't paying for an additional cup and I at least expected to be given a clean cup. At that point, we just walked out without our shakes after wasting at least a 1/2 hour of our time. We then just drove 3 miles to The Royal Scoop where we were greeted with smiles and treated with respect. I will never step foot in For Heaven Shakes again. It would be well worth your time to drive the extra 5 minutes to the Royal Scoop!!
Best ice cream in town - not that sweet and great taste. Very clean and welcoming. Tables for enjoying the ice-cream outside
The ice cream is amazing (especially the German chocolate) BUT the old lady working there has some serious attitude problems. First time I thought she might just have had a bad day, second time was the same thing! And yesterday we went for a third time and she was even worse! I don’t ask for much, just don’t be rude. Done going here! Hopefully she realizes it herself and go and gets some help cause she clearly ain’t happy!
