Had breakfast with three friends, menu very limited breakfast only. Ordered biscuits and grave, got a congealed mess that looked disgusting. Ate one bite, set my fork down, waited for someone to come by the table to check on us. Table was soundly ignored, finally someone came by to clear the table. Her comments were “oh, you didn’t like it” … no apologies, no offer to replace or refund. Obviously didn’t care, which leads me to believe this is not an unusual occurrence. We will NOT go back, and will warn everyone to steer clear of here!
Went for Breakfast. I went to culinary school so I know food. Ordered Pancakes and Scrambled eggs dry with Ham. The pancakes were big but Floury no flavor and dense not light and fluffy. Eggs were under-cooked and must have been sitting they had a dark yellow color on the outside and runny on the inside. Ham was OK no grill marks so must have been steamed or microwaved. I should have known when the coffee ordered seemed old and weak. Would Not recommend this place for breakfast would have been better off going to a national chain restaurant.
Cute diner style breakfast... Coffee was good and server kept my cup full which is always good. The decor remimds you of walking into your grandmother's kitchen. Nothing fancy but filled our bellies
First visit to Dolly’s after reading their reviews. Stopped for lunch after 1:00 trying to avoid lunch time crowd; they were still busy but we got a inside table right away. My wife ordered the stuffed tomato with chicken salad - excellent; I had the Rueben with a side of fries (which was a large serving) - excellent too. The corned beef was both tender and piled on. Service wasn’t bad even though there wasn’t an empty table. It’s to be expected no matter were you go this time in March. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
To look at it you would have no idea How fantastic the food is !! Best breakfast we had in the area …everything was so fresh, home made breads to her pies I have no complaints “ give it a try you won’t be sorry you’ll be back it’s that good
Upon reading all the positive reviews, we decided to try it out for lunch. I had 1/2 roast beef sandwich with potato soup. While it wasn’t bad, it was average, at best. The other two people I was with had BLT’s. They said had it not been for the overdone toast they would have been good. We all finished with pie since many positive reviews on that. Tried the coconut cream, blueberry, and strawberry rhubarb…again, would not go back for those either. Not bad, but not impressive.
Good breakfast, good prices. It's an extremely popular breakfast, brunch or lunch place with indoor or outdoor seating. We'll go back again sometime and try lunch. Parking is a little congested, but we got there at the right time!
The people were very friendly even though the service was ultra slow. I am sure the food is delicious I just couldn't take the vibe. I also didn't see any signs of a produce patch or produce... anything. So I'm not too sure what that is intended to reference. If you are over 50, miss going to your friend's grandma's house, perhaps you will like it here. Endearing to many I am sure.
We always wanted to stop on for breakfast but the place is always packed…I now know why. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was delicious….we will be back for sure..
awesome place, great food and service. love it
