Had a late lunch here. The location is nice and the atmosphere is pleasant. Our server was very nice. We started with the oysters Rockefeller and they were below average. They just didn’t taste quite right. A bit bland. I had the grouper and chips. It was a small portion and the batter was a little chewy instead of crisp. It was just average. My wife had the mahi tacos and I found them to be bland, but she liked them. The rice and beans were fine. My son had the crab cake sandwich and it was very good. The drinks were tasty. If you want a nice place to eat by the water then this is the place for you. If you are looking for top notch food I would go elsewhere. I would give it 3 stars, but my family enjoyed their dishes more than I enjoyed mine, so based on that they get 4 stars.
Beautiful waterfront restaurant serving fresh seafood at its best Try the Coconut Shrimp and the Grilled Scallops and the Pina Coladas are pretty good too.
We visited today and had a lovely lunch, food was really good also the service. The real ball ache is the parking out front, a valet service. To park a car where it is not necessary. Only reason I could see was to give someone a job which isn’t at all necessary and awaiting for a tip for doing nothing. We won’t be back.
Pretty waterfront location under large tiki. A variety of menu items to choose from including tequila! He had the Ahi tuna and I the ribs. He loved his meal. Mine was tasty yet not tender or falling of the bone. Great friendly service from Rebecca. Cold brew and tasty margaritas. We’ll be back again. Oh and valet parking was a nice surprise!
We took friends here for dinner because it's on the water. It's larger than I realized with a bunch of crabby people working there. The hostess started us of with a bang. She asked how many people, counted off the menus, walked to the table and tossed them in the middle......... walked away. Then we waited while watching the woman who would wait on us run in circles! When she eventually waited on us she said "you've been waiting a long time, why not order drinks and your food and get it overwith". Alrighty then! Unfortunately we did that. I got my meal before my cocktail "the bar is backed up". One didn't get their cocktail but asked again and yes, was charged for 2. It went on like that...... and then she plunked the bill down and walked away. So we waited, and waited. Nothing like a nice piece of pie after a long wait! There seems to be a pattern here with the touristy restaurants. And it's not a good one.
The Key lime pie was incredible. I can’t wait to go back and do it again!! The only drawback was that I had to share it with my partner
Another day of exploring Florida and we decided to stop in at the Coconut Jack’s restaurant. We were met by a valet parking attendant on our way into the parking lot. That was a surprise, but no big deal. A very nice gentleman host asked where we would like to sit. We told him Don’t know, we’ve never been there. He said follow me, and you can pick where you would like to be. He showed us the indoor dining room, the outside covered tiki, and the deck, which was directly on the water. That’s the one we picked. Jordan our waiter promptly appeared with a winning smile and a very perky attitude. He brought our drinks, took our order, and then helped a boater tie up his pontoon. Lunch was brought in a timely manner…hot and delicious. There was absolutely no room for dessert. If given the chance, we would definitely go back.
My husband and I went here for an anniversary dinner just the two of us. (We have lived down here for a year) The parking lot is always packed so we thought it had to be good. They have valet parking mainly because it's a hard place to park and get out of - tips not required but you feel obligated to so we gave a couple bucks. We didn't have to wait long and was seated inside at a booth. You can eat outside but it can get very hot unless you sit under the shade side. I was not impressed with our waiter, he wasn't very attentive and at the end gave us another tables bill for over $300! We had to flag him down a few times. My husband had Mango Bango Chicken and I had the Sea Scallops. I thought it was rather expensive but everything is now days. Took awhile to get our food. For the two of us, our actual bill when we got the right one was close to $60 without the tip. I just had water and my husband had one beer. It was also very noisy and had trouble hearing each other talk. More of a tourist attraction I'd say. The food was good, small portions, nothing spectacular.
Great seating and great view! Very quick service and good food! Drinks were delish as well! We will certainly go back! Would love to see a quesadilla on the menu :)
we stopped for a late lunch with our 2 kids. We had to spend 20 minutes discussing with the kids the inappropriate flag flying from the boat closest to the resturant. My sons were seated to look right at it. Fun times trying to talk with your 9 year old about someone flying an F B*den flag. An otherwise great stop, this left a bad taste in our mouth. Politics aside I don't love exposing my kids to this kind of language or level of disrespect.
