On a recent Friday morning, with only three booths occupied, well before 10 o'clock, I waited over 20 minutes to get seated: a couple before me waited 10 minutes before summoning the only server accommodating those in the three booths. But the same server took no notice of me, several times coming close to me as she went to the kitchen. I didn't summon her as the couple in front of me had - I wanted to see how long it would take her to notice me; sure - she was busy, but how many seconds is it to say, "Right this way, Sir. Someone will be with you in a minute." She wouldn't even have to have broken strike to do THAT! But she never did. Finally, a nice gentleman, perhaps the manager since, after hearing my observation that his server doesn't notice people waiting at the sign to be seated, he said it was time for a meeting with staff to get them up to par, or something like that. My daughter and I waited still another 10 minutes in the booth before another server -one of two newly arrived at just after 10- came over to us: why, I guess, the older woman, working alone earlier, was so busy - the rest of the staff didn't show up 'til after 10. Sad situation - most likely due to people working less since COVID and two fat stimulus checks: Americans have gotten lazy! I LOVE TooJay's food and have frequented it for years, but the service I experienced will make merethink going back. Too, while the TooJay's Benedict was delicious, it lacks abysmally in size for what it is - especially compared to Denny's, Pete's in Greenacres, and Tom Sawyer's. Pathetically small by any stretch, but $12? Oy!!! Think twice about going there unless you like "purgatory"!

We visit TooJay's every time we are in the area, usually more than once. This time I had the avocado & egg breakfast BLT. So delicious and reasonably priced. As usual we also got their wonderful rugelach to go. Wish we had a TooJay's where I live!

coleslaw / pickle/ rye bread, have changed not as good as it used to be years ago. probably a different vendor. same basic food.

Excellent dining experience. The eggs Benedict were superb. Price is reasonable. It has a nice vibe. Clean. The staff is friendly.

Food and service were both excellent. The surroundings are immaculate. I've been going there for years. The food is also delicious.

Every time, the staff is fantastic, and the food is delicious. Even if you want something as insignificant as no bread.

It's a healthy supermarket with all the necessities. It is very useful for the people who live nearby.

Waited at the deli counter for more than a half hour after I placed my order on 3/17/22 @7:30pm with tall black lady who told me that the deli person was on a bathroom break and should be back in a few minutes. While I was waiting there, 5 other customers walked out because it took so long to get their order which is exactly what i did!!! The lady who took my order seemed to care less about loosing business. Will go somewhere else from now on unfortunately.

Counter service extremely slow, possibly understaffed; if you have excessive time to burn, this is the place to go. The Toojays on jog is much better

woman who is supposed to answer phones for takeout on super bowlsunday 2022 at 5pm needs to be reprimanded. she had me on hold first for 7 min. then after 3 consequential calls back to her she never picked up the phone. unprofessional. management needs to address. #doyourjob #badservice #incompetent
