I ordered the same thing that I order at ever TFlats. We are vegan due to my daughter's health issues and have to modify our orders. I have only heard one other location get confused, but they called me promptly to confirm my order. I was told by a person here that I had to pay extra to get beans on my daughter's quesadilla. After omitting cheese, it's just a tortilla!!! So, yeah, she needs SOMETHING. They told me that I had to order the right item and insisted that a kids bean quesadilla existed on the menu (it doesn't). When I said that it wasn't a thing on the menu, they told me I would just have to pay and order extra beans on the side and instruct them to put them on her quesadilla. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I wanted to march in the place and make her show me where all of these things existed. I order from TFlats weekly!! I will 100% never return to this location. Such a terrible experience that was made worse by really bad tasting food. I am usually so happy at other locations. This one needs an overhaul.
Marquis offered the worst customer service experience of me and my wife's life. Price was posted on huge billboard behind him stating " Margaritas 4 for $20". SEE PIC BELOW He charged me over $25. I asked why when the price was posted and advertised in the store he was overcharging me. He said, "Oh, the prices must have changed." I asked him,"I'm a regular customer and ask that you honor the price that is advertised." He said, "I will not honor that price."What boggles the mind is that he did not care at all about us, doing the right thing nor show any type of hospitality nor customer service. Did I mention it was Friday night--peak dinner time--at 5:54 pm? The store was empty on Friday night dinnertime. Can you imagine what Corporate Tijuana Flats would think if they knew that their manager with no customers in his store--peak Friday night dinner--turns away the only customers to come in and not honor the posted prices and try to pull off a bait and switch? There are dozens of Mexican food type restaurants around that offer better casual dining at great prices.
The food is amazing, everything is fresh and taste homemade! The salsa is incredible and the queso too! I got a shrimp bowl and my husband a chicken and steak burrito! We’re in love and very satisfied!
Marquis is a breath of fresh air. He is always on his A game! Not once have I seen him in a bad mood, look flustered, or out of place. He is an excellent leader and an asset to Tijuana flats! Thank you so much!
Goodish food. Dont go at night. Ran by high schoolers they wont care if it takes 45 mins to make 2 tacos
I’ve loved this place for a few years now. The food is amazing and the prices are very good. It’s more of a lunch spot or a quick dinner though.
Bought some black beans from here, and found little pieces of glass inside while eating. One time I found a staple in my chips, yet I came back again because I thought it was just an accident from them stapling the receipt to the bag. I should have never came back after that. Everything I bought for me and my family tasted like absolute garbage. This place should be shut down!
I went to tijuana flats today, and they ruined my lunch, I went because I received an email with an special to get a trio dips with chips and a taco when you buy an entrée, when I went to the cashier I ask her what I need to do to earn it, she said buy an entrée, I did, THE FOOD TOOK FOREVER 30 minutes later I went to one of the girl and told her to put my food to go she wasn't very friendly but she did put it to go, when I check the trio and the taco was missing I told the girl and she went to talk to the cashier and comeback and said you need to order online by the app, I said yes but I asked the cashier and she said only to buy there, you should give it to me , is no my fault was her, and she start argument , I ask her to bring the manager, the cashier come and tell me stop screaming, and I was not Screaming they are in the kitchen and I am in front, I was talking so they can hear me, they treat me super bad, when the manager came he was treating me as I can't speak english , he was the worst and refuse to give me customer service number, or his name he said he was the manager, he said you need to listen, when I say ok tell me; he start to tell me in order to get the trio and the taco I need to go to app, same thing than the other and no solution, I say at this time I don't want nothing you put me to wait 30 minutes and at the end don't give me my complete food and now lecture me I walk away and went to my car crying because they were super rude, because english is no my first language they get advantage of the situation, I went back to ask for refund the manager and he want to talk again, asking me if I am calm, I was upset the same , I said by now you ruined my lunch and my day I just need a refund please. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES I HAVE IN MY LIFE
