It’s amazingly delicious food in here. We had grilled eel and sashimi dinner which is so good. Ambiance and carving of the food is the best ?
First time coming here with my husband. On the way to West Palm and got hungry and decided to go to this Sushi Yama in Boca based on their good reviews. They did not disappoint. Great ambiance and everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. Server Ken was great and made some last minute adjustments to my sushi since I messed up. He was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely come again when I’m in town.
Went to sushi Yama after the renaissance festival with a group of people. Got seated right away and it was not busy. We barely saw our waiter, refilled our water once but other than that we were ignored. We were going to get other drinks and a second round of sushi, but we waited so long that we decided to just have dessert. We had to holler for our waiter to order dessert. We ordered a few of the Baked Alaska and when it came out to the table it was Neapolitan ice cream with whipped cream and sprinkles. Not even close to what was pictured on the menu or as described. I had to flag down the waiter again to ask him about the baked Alaska and if they forgot the merengue. He proceeded to argue with me about how they don’t do that and that it doesn’t have merengue. It shows it on the menu. It says it on the menu. And that’s what baked Alaska is. It then took him another 10 minutes of us just sitting there to just get our checks. What a horrible experience. After arguing with us about their false advertisement on their menu they should be glad we even paid and didn’t walk out while we waited all that time for our check. Do not recommend.
Well, I supposed to have a night out with my daughter. Once there waited in the entrance for the host literally never came, waiters passed by, everyone looked at us including the sushi chef and nothing. It's s Tuesday night so it wasn't that busy. The funny part is that they sat the people after us, why?... I don't know, apparently we weren't important. Talked with the manager, she was in another world. Never again
Needed gluten free. Ordered sushi. Asked for it to be gluten free. They included items in the roll that have gluten, so I couldn’t eat my food. They should have declined order or excluded the gluten item from the roll. They don’t list all of the ingredients in their rolls.
Food was ok but the service was terrible. We waited over an hour to get our food.Server stated take out was busy…1st of business, take care of the customer in front of you first #disapointing
Food and service all always on point. The atmosphere are great and wide variety of selections.
This place has been here for a long time now.I tried them about 10 or so years ago and just found them again.Their rolls are huge, their soup is good as well.They are a bit pricey but it helps that sushi is tasty and big.Hub got the Mongolian Beef, he loved it, said it was super savory and tasty. Only issue is it’s really expensive for the size of it.They have a great roll called the French Roll, made with crepe paper.I don’t see us eaten here often and it’s not very affordable But their food is consistently good and everyone who loves sushi should try it once!

Great place! Good food! Nice atmosphere.My wife and I order delivery and pick up from here rather often. Their food is very good and consistent. She loves the sushi. My son loves the miso soup with extra tofu. I get the pork and vegetable dumplings. They are usually pretty good about their pick up times too.
