The positives: The beach front location is just beautiful! We enjoyed our dinner, watching the sunset. We had a few vegetarians in our group and this place surprisingly had quite a few options! Most of the food was quite tasty.The negatives: The samosas were tiny, more like wontons... Barely appetizer size! We were really disappointed in the pad thai. It did not have the tangy-spicy-sweet taste of pad thai, instead it was low mein noodles in sweet peanut butter sauce. The fried ice cream was not good either, the batter was undercooked, soggy and had no flavor.Overall, great ambiance, good service and quite a few options for the vegetarians!
2 hour dining experience of 20 some unique items. Food is a hit or miss. Presentation was lacking. The sashimi starter in vinaigrette was excellent. The uni I got was not fresh and the fish karaage was extremely fishy and not properly seasoned. The soy glaze that was used over a lot of the fish was overpowering at times. The use of the artificial wasabi paste at this price point takes away from the dining experience. Lastly, the choice of fish and preparation is often times too similar without the use of contrast to accentuate each fish’s unique texture and flavor that is commonly seen in omakase. It’s a good experience that stands out in South Florida/Boca. You come here for a feeling of Japan in Boca. However, it is a far cry from an experience in Japan.
THE BEST SUSHI IN BOCA (probably all of FL, and even USA)!!! Do yourself a favor and book reservations on their website. This place is so refreshing as far as a dining out experience. It's cozy, friendly, and an absolute breath of fresh air in this hustle n' bustle tourist town. Plus a must if you have high-end clientel that just want a private place (they'll lock the doors) to have an AMAZING sushi experience. Thanks for opening your doors to us Chef Ben!

This place is insane. We ordered $300 of takeout for 5:15 pm. They said it would be ready 5:45. Went back. Now the order is gone. No food. No refund. They will do a gift card for “sometime in the future” this place has to be a front for an illegal business. Stay. Away.
This place is superb!! We had Carl as our Chef and he was so professional and nice. The fish is fresh and the flavors incorporate Japanese herbs and flavors. Definitely coming back here deliiiiish!
One of the most amazing dining experiences I've ever had. Omokase style sushi dining is hands down THE way to go. The cuts of proteins were perfect and tasty and the service personal and endearing. My date and I had an amazing time.
A++ 5*. This is HANDS DOWN the best sushi/omakase in the USA. They’re fish quality is better than any other restaurant. The owner has the best fish buyers in the world. Every single time the fish is the same or better. Also entire staff is extremely pleasant & Knows what they’re customers want. Ordering a box now :). Thanks all!
