Gyro pita, fries and drink. Very good. Lots of meat. Too much to eat. Place was clean, service was fast and friendly. I give it 5 stars. A must try!
Three strikes & you're out, past 2 orders either was missing extra sauce, missing extra pitas (all paid for) skimped on ingredients, received wrong items (i.e. plain gyro instead of all the way). I've ordered from here for the past 4+ years (it was called something else before current name Solvaki Time) but never again...This order placed online, send my mother to pick up the order, order not ready, owner argues with her that we didnt order, then says they dont take online orders, then calls the online service they use and tells them she doubts she placed an order etc, turns out the restaurant had their online orders turned off. Any owner that would prefer to argue with customers instead of offering a solution doesn't deserve your business.Food was on par with any other greek place so save your self the gas money and dont go here.
The lamb was over-seasoned but other than that the food was good. They have the tops for coffee cups instead of the kind for soft drinks so you have to be careful not to spill. The worst part was the service, the guy behind the counter was too busy paying attention to everyone else and the young girl being served by the other employee to attend to my partner and I. Very mediocre experience since the business name change.
My fave go to local greek spot. Best specials and yummy food. I love it all and order take out weekly.
Greek food is one of my favorites, hubby and I love to have souvlaki and gyros, they have an incredible team who is very friendly. Extremely generous portions and very quick service. We enjoy our lunches on the weekends there.
3 stars for the food. only for the food. my 50/50 was good even though it was ice cold. fries seemed undercooked but it worked out cause i can pop those in the toaster oven but i just can't mike my lettuce nor pick it all outta my gyro. story goes, i show up in the 10 minutes she said it'd take and pay (and tip!). she says it's not ready so i sit and watch all these effin gyros go out and hear those numbers climbing and hear that crab lady talk smack about them being soooo picky because they want sauce on the side. i tell her my number after 10 minutes in and point out she's calling out numbers way beyond mine and i just wanted to check. she cops an attitude with me and puts the cooks on the spot and they say it's coming right now, yup, my number?, yup. seems like another 10 minutes go by...order up-not mine! she actually hears me now when i say my number and looks at my receipt again and gives me the stack of boxes that have been on the counter since i got there, 20 minutes ago. (seriously) all set?, yup. i get NO apology, not a single word, just gives it to me. She needs to know, she's bad at her job. Everyone was walking on eggshells for her. i witnessed at least three very rude encounters between her and other customers. You need to say, "i'll be right with you", not "you can pay when i get to the register" with a stank face to an elderly woman! i was burning up inside. i kept quiet and waited for my number to be called as she so elequently stated we'd all better start doing. She can't multitask and be friendly. We all get busy at work! Doesn't mean you have to take it out on everyone else! Maybe she's the owner, must be why she gets away with it. Not sure if i'll go back. Maybe my husband will be the one to pick it up instead so he can put her in her place. She needs to come down a few pegs.
Good if you're on a diet. Not if you're really hungry. The Greek place near bolay has way better portions and better fries. My 2 cents.
My wife loves Souvlaki time! Her go to is the falafel pita and she loves the tzatziki especially when she was pregnant..
