I’ve been here several times and usually the experience was recently good. We came here for my daughter’s birthday. And from the beginning I realized that they were going to be adding on the gratuity. The waitress was horrible and acted like she did not wanna be there. All she cared about was adding on the little extras. It took 15 minutes to get drinks. I had to ask four times to get chopsticks. And normally when you go to hibachi restaurant the chef puts on a bit of a show. They did the absolute minimum. At no time did they ever come to refill drinks. The “Fried “ rice had a little egg and Nothing else. Even at the end the night after a mediocre dinner and poor service it took 15 minutes to get the check. I was 100% sure that they were adding on their gratuity because they clearly couldn’t care less. I was 100% correct because clearly they didn’t gratuity. I’m not going back. BEWARE
I asked for a custom chef special and it was a beautiful creation which I wish I remembered all of the ingredients to. Coming back again for custom creations from this chef. The crispy tuna biscuit was also our favorite.
Hands down the BEST sushi in all of Boca Raton. Everything we ordered was fast served and extremely delicous. The waitress was support friendly and every suggestion she made was perfect for my taste buds. Thank you again for the amazing service and food Saiko Shushi. Definitely coming back again with friends and family!
Had our Valentine here as was able to book the Hibachi on that day. It was a pleasant and entertaining experience. Quality of the meal was good for the price. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take pictures.We had some drinks at the outside patio later which was nice. Will surely drop by again to try the Japanese food as that looks good.
Food was good, but what a huge noisy place! Service was standard. Not bad. Not great. Altogether my first and last visit.
It’s a good place and good food. But bad customer service. If I am thanking you over the phone and being nice, don’t just hang up on my face after the order is placed. They don’t even say “bye”. I get your busy, but you are taking my money. The customers money is what makes your business and is the reason your making money. So a simple “your welcome” or even a “bye” isn’t so much to ask for if I’m paying a 40$ tab for one plate.
Worst service ever. Waited for over one hour for food that never arrived. Paid for the drinks and left. The waiters just disappear and there is nobody to talk to. Worse experience ever. Went to the pizza next door and got my slice of pizza in less than a minute. I guess do T go there if you are hungry.
Unfortunately both myself and my friend had a pretty lousy meal. I did not feel like having rice tonight so instead I ordered the red curry dish and my friend the chicken cashew dish. On both plates the vegetables were almost raw, and eating raw green peppers is not the best experience. In both dishes the chicken was completely overcooked, rubbery at best. Its a shame because I really like the atmosphere and the service was pretty good. But unfortunately too many other restaurants in the area to try before giving this one another shot. It will be a few years before coming back
Chef Michael made the experience so spectacular! He was kind, funny, and engaging. And above all, he made the best tofu I’ve ever had :-) I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun night out.
Good place, it’s not cheap though. Food is pricey and they make you pay extra for fried rice an allow for no substitutes with is lame. Also if you order to-go the portions are much smaller, definitely eat in. But for a lot of people in central Boca it’s in a good location. Very nice staff and chefs. Good drinks. No long wait times. Plenty of seating both hibachi and regular.
